schlondark November 9, 2012 Author November 9, 2012 Can you tell me where I can find those people, so I can read about their experiences? A few of them posted in this thread already >-> (I was one of the voices concerned about fuliam) otherwise: Nali[Lavender] (who actually encountered it in daydreams before tuppering) some random newbs I don't have the names of (2) (one of whom was an avid daydreamer and referred to it as an 'evil self' with a 180 personality to his) Cowgar's tuppers showed him 'his inner darkness' Teryakywind seems to think fisk was one I'm not entirely sure about this one in particular, but: tulpacouple|nate found luke with a personified subconscious after he began to fade on another note; It can talk, and when I ask it who it is it says "You"
Fuliam November 10, 2012 November 10, 2012 So why did fuse with the shadow rather than just admitting yoursel part of yourself, then destroying it and taking action to improve yourself? What if it takes over somehow? I didn't fuse like how i fused with serena. I fused as in accepted all that it was, was actually myself. Follow me here http://fuliam-pro.tumblr.com/ I have two tulpa, both capable of switching and talking.
Phi November 10, 2012 November 10, 2012 5. Tulpa of yourself: The main reason you don't want to make a tulpa of yourself is because of the likelihood of the tulpa becoming your shadow. The shadow, one of Jung's archetypes, is the you that you deny. While your persona is the face you show in public, and the self is the real you, the shadow is all of the "yous" that you threw away and deny the existence of. A happy-go-lucky person may have a depressed shadow. Jung stated that the the more you deny your shadow, the 'denser and more black' it becomes. Under normal circumstances, then, it would be a good idea to accept your shadow. However, giving it form is the worst way to do so. It may sound easy, but accepting your shadow if it has a form is hard to do. If you thought that you were a nice person, would you accept your shadow which uses and tosses people aside so easily? The more you deny it once it has a form the more powerful it will become, and the more power it will have over you. is a good example of a conversation between a person and their shadow.
imahaxor November 10, 2012 November 10, 2012 -snip- Wow, being a fan of the Persona series and all, and reading this thread just blows my mind. Never in a million years would I have thought things like shadows could be a legitimate thing. Anyways, this brings up some questions for me. What would be the repercussions of denying your shadow? If you accept it, would it simply merge with you subconscious, or would it exist as a tulpa? My Tulpa And then it cuts to a scene where you're sitting in a padded cell.
Gray November 11, 2012 November 11, 2012 What would be the repercussions of denying your shadow? None? Shadow is something are already denying.
Lukenstein3D November 12, 2012 November 12, 2012 There's something in my head, a fifth entity (currently four tulpa) that I wasn't able to put my finger on until just a couple hours before I read this. It was a black dragon with blue eyes, like smooth oval sapphires. The dragon was surrounded by blue flame, and I asked if it was real, to which it replied "yes" in a voice that I can only describe as sinister and reptilian. I just talked to it now, asked it if it was this shadow thing described in this thread, to which it replied "yes". I asked it's name and it only laughed. I keep conversing with it, it doesn't seem hostile, but it certainly would seem to want to scare me a little. I would ignore it if not for the fact that it's so incredibly vivid and easy to hear to the point that I can almost hear it outside of my head. This is... interesting. And now I'm having A LOT of trouble visualizing my other tulpa, and I can see Rev (my most developed) trying to get to me through a wall of black smoke :c ”Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” - Henry Ford

He's also dropped the overt Hostility. Usually asking it to leave the tulpae alone results in "I won't hinder but I won't help."
Lukenstein3D November 12, 2012 November 12, 2012 Usually asking it to leave the tulpae alone results in "I won't hinder but I won't help." Well, my wonderland where my tulpae hang out was just replaced with blue fire and my tulpae were all running around screaming with their eyes gouged out, fortunately I was able to peel the images back like a sticker, convince my tulpae that it was only an illusion and not actually happening, and it seems to be fading away now, along with the black smoke. I think I need to talk a little bit more with this new dragon shadow guy :I ”Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” - Henry Ford
Lukenstein3D November 12, 2012 November 12, 2012 His name is Mr. Black, I know now. He's popped up not just in his room but in my wonderland, which made me physically jump (he's even spookier outside of his place), and I confronted him, explained to him what parts of me he was (cowardly, angry, unforgiving, self-hating, unmerciful etc.) which infuriated him, but I told him that we can get along. I said he needs to not harm my tulpae, which he agreed to do. Before this, he had actually "killed" two of my tulpae, but I revived them (I had been unsure if I should keep them or not because they were accidents but Mr. Black, unmerciful as he is, decided to do the dirty work for me). Now, he appears to have kidnapped the same two accidental tulpae, saying that he wanted some of his own. He's done something to them (for a while I could only see them black as him, with blue flames for eyes) and they aren't moving at all, save to stare at me, but I feel this wearing off and am pretty hopeful that they'll return to normal. But yeah. What the fuck. ”Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” - Henry Ford
