jean-luc November 26, 2015 Author November 26, 2015 Snow: So, for tulpaweek jean-luc has successfully shutup and we're talking! Have to keep prompting him to actually type what we're saying... Anyway, I was thinking we needed some colors since the name: syntax is annoying and I don't like it. So, what colors should we use? I have no idea! That's why I'm asking you all people persons. Henry: There are two of us, btw. So two colors needed. So yeah. Stats is back: https://stats.jean-luc.org/ I don't visit as often as I used to. Paranoid Llama November 26, 2015 November 26, 2015 How about you make jean-luc use a different colour (perhaps red?) and Snow use white (hence "snow"). And then Henry can use orange! I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.
jean-luc November 26, 2015 Author November 26, 2015 Unfortunately on the mobile version of the site the colors are reversed, and the background is white. Invisible text is bad. Also it would be very confusing, since I've always talked using the normal text, so switching to someone else talking using it would be very confusing. Colors chosen! Cool blue and uh, red. Plain old red. Hwoop. Stats is back: https://stats.jean-luc.org/ I don't visit as often as I used to. If you want me to see something, make sure to quote a post of mine or ping me @jean-luc
Paranoid Llama November 27, 2015 November 27, 2015 Well that's cool too. Yeah. I'm not going to listen to you guys since you are all probably just talking to yourself and don't really have a tulpa like me.
jean-luc May 5, 2016 Author May 5, 2016 HARRY. MY FSM. So, at one point I thought "oh ya know what it doesn't matter what I choose as a form/name, and I want another tulpa to keep snow company and help her progress" (didn't really work) "I know, ill pick this guy from youtube that does portal videos. Henry101uk" It is not henry101uk. It's HARRY101uk. It's gone too long now so henry's (my tulpas) name is now henry, but it was supposed to be harry. I facepalmed quite a bit after I realized this. Oh, and you should choose someone with lots of source material. There are surprisingly little straight recordungs of harrys voice unmodified. jean-luc June 10, 2016 Author June 10, 2016 Found this random draft from febuary of 2015 (see attached) that I was apparently going to post here but never did, unfortunately I don't know how I intended to finish it. I figured I'd post it here for posterity. [hidden] So, crazy thing just happened. Just after I wrote this blog post I just so happened to watch an episode of black mirror, specifically episode 1 of season 2. It's available on netflx, and I highly reccomend it. Anyway, the anger and frustration of the wife chillingly reminds me of my own. If you don't feel like watching, here's a plot summary by me(Complete spoiler): The story starts out with a guy(Ash) and his wife, and Ash is absolutely addicted to his phone. Then, ash goes off, and dies. The episode is unspecific as to exactly how, but a car crash is implied. Then, one of the wife's friends reccomends a service that takes all the information online about Ash and combines it together to figure out what he'd say. At this, the wife (now widow) bawks, and at one point screams. Wife's friend signs the wife up for the service anyway, and the wife eventually caves in after she realizes she's pregnant, and starts talking to "ash". Things progress, and eventually the service is also able to emulate ash's voice. She then talks to him 24/7 through an earpiece. At some points she has to explain things to him, like "Throw a jig", which was a phrase they used to mean "throw a fit". Throughout the whole time, he's very... obedient. Things like "Would you like me to do this? Okay". Eventually through this service she is able to get an actual body for him, which only exasperates the knowlege gaps, and the robotic obedience. And now that I write that, it just didn't get it across. Really gotta w [/hidden] Stats is back: https://stats.jean-luc.org/ I don't visit as often as I used to. jean-luc September 15, 2016 Author September 15, 2016 So I've started, erm, "praying", and it's working pretty well. Even after years of having tulpas I still can't pay enough attention to them, and this was just a sortof a random idea I had. Going off the idea that god is a tulpa the "god" in some religions is sometimes similar to a tulpa, I decided to try praying to my tulpas. Obviously I can just talk to them normally, but I find that going through the motions of crossing my arms, tilting my head down, and closing my eyes (like I used to do when I was a kid, I was raised religious), I get into that same "reverance". And then, over the past few days, I've developed a prayer to repeat every time: man it feels awkward writing this "Dear Henry and Snow, I love you very much. I give you my energy, and my lifeforce." Sometimes I switch up the order of the names to avoid any favoritism. Every piece of it is not just said (and said slowly), but I put lots of meaning behind it. In the first part it's as if I'm calling them to make sure they're there, and listening. To establish a stronger connection I guess? And then I say I love them, cause I do. At this point I give both a hug in the wonderland. And then the "energy and lifeforce" part (man, that sounds REALLY cliche written out XD). I imagine energy flowing from myself to them, but I also do something I can't quite describe. It's the same thing anytime I'm trying to use "energy", as if I'm trying to use the force or something. It feels physical, but I have no idea if there's anything actually happening (increase in blood pressure? Certain internal muscle being used?) or if it's entirely my imagination, but either way it certainly makes it feel more potent, instead of just words. In this case it is quite literally the thought that counts. Stats is back: https://stats.jean-luc.org/ I don't visit as often as I used to. Vos September 16, 2016 September 16, 2016 The real question is, does this help you pay attention to them throughout the day?
