If everyone just had it in their minds that everything unproven (time travel, AP, anti-gravity, teleportation, mind-reading) is considered impossible before it is proven, then I think we could have avoided all this.

 

Is astral projection possible? No. No one has done it where other people can say "Yes, here we have rock solid proof that this person left their body and travelled around". It's impossible. Once we get that proof, it's impossible to call it impossible, and it's added to the list of possible things, such as space travel, flight and electric lighting.

To reopen this discussion, I personally feel that while reported possibilities of Astral Projecting are sketchy (And can possibly just be a case of extreme suggestibility). I do not think that it is impossible per say, just merely plausible. My lack of experience with the area is lacking however, so take it with a grain of salt.

 

Personally I would love to pull off half of the metaphysical things demonstrated on this forum, but their seems to be just enough doubt to make me wonder if it is even possible.
