Anyway.

I narrate therefo- GODDANGIT!

So I narrated a little today. Very little. VERY little. I am embarrassed at how little I have done today. All that dominates my mind is unimportant stuff and how interesting is this image! I could just stare at it forever!

Wait, no... Uh, OH RIGHT! Narration! Yeah, I'vn't (not a word) narrated much because of distraction. I need to re-develop narration as an uber-habit, and the articles are not going to be finished for... 5 years? So I'm stuck. [redacted].

Basically, I've lost the will to narrate due to a sudden increase in schoolwork and thus, stress levels. However, I did note earlier that my best sessions which were the most on-topic and concentrated on Kat happen to be when I'm really, REALLY pissed off. So, I need to get pissed more. In order to make a being who will help me NOT get pissed more. WHY DOES THIS SOUND FLAWED?

Anyway, in case you didn't realize this earlier, I start most of these posts with "anyway."

Yep. Totally.

So there you have it.

Anyway.

I've nothing to do today but narrate. It's a happy feeling, when your entire night is to be dedicated to mental illness. Still, I know I am making slow progress, and will, at some point in the future, have an operating piece of tupperware and will have many adventures in the magical land of rainbows and unicorns, which is my mind. Looking to the future!

It's only a mental illness or disorder when it impairs your functioning in society and is a danger to yourself or others.

Um. wouldn't "or" fit better here? i.e. 'impairs social life OR is dangerous'

Otherwise you're completely correct.

But for some reason it's really fun to say "I'm insane!"

I don't visit as often as I used to. If you want me to see something, make sure to quote a post of mine or ping me @jean-luc

Before diagnosing a psychological disorder' date=' Clinicians must study the themes, also known as abnormalities, within psychological disorders. The most prominent themes consist of: deviance, distress, dysfunction and danger. These themes are known as the 4 D's, which define abnormality.[/quote']http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychopathology

I've heard it said that a behavior is only a disorder if it is "deviant, distressful, and dysfunctional" (including the "and"), and searching for that led to the quote above from wikipedia.

Insane and sane are legal terms, not psych terms.

And how in the sam hill is saying you're insane fun?

Saying you're insane IS fun! Seriously, try it! It's not as fun as saying "huggbees," which was featured on a Freakazoid episode a long time ago, and continues to be a ridiculously fun thing to say even to this day, but it IS pretty fun.

But yeah, I get that it's not a mental illness. I just call it that.
