The man manages to regain his stance, ''Thank you, Miah, that was very much appreciated.''

 

He looked over to Chloe, her shadow providing support and temporal protection of the wound. ''I think I could help that, I know a few bits of magic myself. But I don't know how your shadow would react, do you mind if I have a whack at it? Not literally, or course.''

 

((Your choice Chloe, depending on what your shadow will do, it's a d6 so the magic is sure fire to work. Sorry if this is slowing down the game.))

 

[Ponder that later, we must walk. Before it's dark,] asserted the pony.

 

((And we both vote town, so Wrath can work his imagination muscles and tell us what happens.))

I'll start describing it when you guys get there. First I think i'll go to sleep (sorry) for a bit. Meanwhile you'll have to resolve all your actions then time-skip to the point where you're approaching the village. But first, do you hurry or take it easy, considering Chloe's foot (that seal won't hold forever). Whether nor not you hurry determines whether or not you'll have to make a mad dash towards the light of the village before whatever lurks in the dark catches up to you.

That's why I'm going to bust out my healing magic! We just don't know how her shadow will react to it...

The man called G offered Chloe to help her leg. She almost laughed when he said how the shadow would react. Why would her cute pets do anything against such a kind man?

 

"Ok, have a go G."

 

The shadow opens up a bit and show the pretty badly wounded leg.

 

"Also, it's getting dark, should we be on our way now? Auntie Vixen should be in the town up north"

''Right-o...'' G put his hands to the wound and concentrated. From his finger tips, a slow red and pink haze begun to drift and and sooth the cut in circular, almost vortex motions. More purple tones radiated from his palms and lay them selves on the cut, vibrating the flesh around the wound. Finely, hazy green stripes darted from the knuckles and weaved over and under the cut, gradually closing it from bottom to top. The process took altogether about half a minute. ''Good as new.''

 

[Move!] Pruria flew up and sat on the man's head, coming face to face with Chloe, [Tell me about you auntie Vixennn. Is she a vixen? I just love foxes, always so hospitable and lovin-]

 

G backed away from the cut after inspecting it—to be sure the spell worked correctly—and awkwardly lifted the pony from his back. ''You know I hate when you do that. Now, onwards!''

 

((Fast travel, I'm guessing. Unless, Miah? is there anything you want to add?

 

Chloe, I guess you can indulge us with a little info on this character (who's managed, very much so, to get Pruria into the RP mood,) until Wrath comes back from his nap.))

I'll get on vixen info once we got to abani town.

Whether we made it in time before the town barricade themself at night or not is up to wrath

"Aunt vixen isn't a fox, though she is as cunning as them. But she's really hospitable and loving! Last time I helped my brother find a dawn-dusk crystal, I lost count of the time she helped us."

 

Looking around to check if she didn't drop anything she said;

 

"Let's go Miah!"

Miah had only caught the important bits of what had been said. A town. Shelter. That was the better choice. The woods became very dangerous at night. Miah trusted herself in the forest at night, as a matter of fact she preferred it that way, but these others might not fair so well. For their safety she would accompany them to the town. After that she would decide whether to stay with them or go her own way.

 

"I say we make to the town, for your sakes. Still, I don't completely trust just going in like that. You never know how friendly others are... Perhaps you three head into the town, and I stay just on the edge of the forest over night. I can handle myself out here, and this way if anything does go awry and you don't report back to me in the morning, I'll be in a position to do something. Sound good?"

[cruse]

Hearing what Miah said, Chloe sigh as she realized Miah is not exactly a good listener.

 

"The town we're heading to is Abani town. Me and my brother went there during our quest to find a Dawn-Dusk crystal. During our trip we met this alchemist who goes by the name 'Vixen'. The townspeople know me and her and so I sure we'd be treated nicely, unless someone mugged us. Vixen is a good women, and her house is quite large not including a hut she used for her alchemical activity so we should be able to sleep comfortably there."

 

Chloe then inspect Miah. A bow, dark cloak, leather pants, boots, typical gear for those who lives in the forest. With a polite smile, and a trace of sarcasm, she said.

 

"But if you're more comfortable in the forest, then you can stay out!"

G quite liked the idea, it ensured that they whole party—as he seen the group—would no be in jeprody should things go awry. But something about the archer's tone sounded off to him, he looked to his parter who, from the looks of her, shared none of his concern.

 

''Is there another reason you want to split? I can see what you mean if something were to happen to us... but going alone, even for a ranger of your skill, could still be dangerous.

 

''Maybe one of us should go with you, so that we can stay in even groups; I wouldn't be near agile enough to keep, so I can't. Perhaps Pruria could humble you with some songs—seeing as she has wings and could easily follow you in the trees; and Chloe wishes to visit her aunt.''
