I thought of a test to tell whether or not possession is working, and would like to know if it works well or not.

Note: This only works if you cannot do the described action on your own.

Have your tulpa possess one arm, when have them move that hand's index finger as if repeatedly pressing a button in the air while you move the other index finger in a circle, also in the air. I think what should happen is that if you are controlling both hands, the movement from the two hands will "corrupt" each other and both fingers will basically end up tracing a wobbly ellipse. If your tulpa controls one, both movements should work smoothly.

Anyway, tell me if this works or not.

I'm not so sure that would work.

The concept is there, but I can do both movement myself, just fine.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Probably helpful for personal use, though as mentioned by Kiahdaj is not necessarily something that could be used to prove possession in times of real doubt as it is something we can do ourselves. It is far easier with a tulpa, however. We noticed this a while back when Nate was letting Luke control his left arm and they were petting our cat. It was interesting how they never once fell in sync with each other and moved very independently. We did similar tests and found them all to be easier when one hand was possessed. Nate could still do them himself of course, but it was trickier than with Luke's help. Interesting at least.

I'm not sure this will work; I can do it perfectly easily without having either hand possessed.

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

Alright, thanks.

I wasn't trying to prove possession, just find a quick way to test to make sure it's working, and evidently it won't work for the people who can do it anyway. I can't do both actions at the same time, that's why it works for me.

Yeah I can do it just fine myself.

Maybe try a different test? As people have said, the concept is there, but the test isn't good enough. The good old "Pat your head and rub your belly" might work?

Maybe edit your first post and replace your test with that? The poll would still stand.

But pat your head and rub your belly is almost the same exact thing but with the whole hand instead of just a finger. It's easy to do.

Try it- most people can't do it and they end up either patting both parts or rubbing both parts. Its famous for making people fuck up this way.

People /can/ do it but rarely can they do it for very long.

frt

I did do it, I wouldn't have said it's easy to do unless it was.
