It has come to my attention that the majority of the threads on the form as run, commented on and replied to by hosts. And, even worse, the tulpa only irc—tulpa# or something like that—is dead from what I can see. I, personally, am incredibly confused at this. I've started this thread to maybe stir some of the tulpae into talking more (really guys, you's are slacking off.)

I believe that's because in the early days that there was a lot less tulpae and thus next to no traffic, perhaps that's changed with the major spike in numbers in the last two/three months?

Visit #tuppers, plenty of hosts with talkative tuppers you can ask to talk to, if they're not on themselves already. I'm a eurofag so can't say how busy it is when I'm sleeping, but if you want to visit it in like, say, 15 or 16 hours, I should be there at least with the horndog.

 

There is a tupper board, lurk more before you go bitching about the lack of one. You're the second one in like, I dunno, a short time asking about that. I'll attest to #tulpachat being dead to the point of being nigh useless. Multiple attempts to start up conversation were only met with marginal success. It's possible to use the other channels to proxy, but even that's not the best solution, as conversations in .info quickly become chaotic and unintelligible.

 

BUT! There is a solution to this lack of thought folk chat that I think people have been overlooking. Remember this PenPal thread that didn't quite seem to take off due to scripting errors? I believe people still have those accounts up and running. Why don't people just take those addresses and randomly send e-mails to them? That way tulpa can meet new tulpa with no host presence, and all that happy jazz. Reposting my thought folk's addresses if anyone wishes to drop them a line:

It's more because having a visible tulpa section on board would be a nice, big target for role playing and faking, which we already have a decent amount of around these parts. I doubt Pleeb wants to encourage this behavior more than the concept itself allows, thus no open Tulpa-only board.

I've learned of the penpal thread just today. And I don't feel just PMing someone is normal, I think it needs to be a tad more formal, or at least eased in. Hence I made this thread, in hopes that someone who shares [my desires] can say it, and thus, the easiest transition.

Perhaps I'm being incredibly beta and generally afraid of other people (I edit the fuck outa every post I write; I'm terrified of this community, to be frank,) and should stop being a pussy, [that's what I've been saying D:] but that really isn't the way I like to handle things.
