Amalia has wings, but not the kind with feathers. They're like fairy wings, think butterfly. I didn't really "make" them, she did. They're attached in between her shoulder blades, and are pointed back with a slight angle outwards. They're more sturdy and durable than you'd think, but also quite weighty. She can't fly with them (for some reason), only slow her falls. They haven't been very pliable until recently. I fixed them by imagined them becoming softer and the joints more flexible. So now she can lie on her back, they bend that far, but she still prefers to sleep on her stomach. Even though they don't do much, she wants to keep them. Because they're pretty~<3

Psyche's wings are projections versus physical constructs, she wanted tattoos that become wings. I made them color changeable to a degree, so that she can adjust them to her mood. Having said that, I based them on the "connects to the shoulder blades" cheat.

"I look fabulous with my wings! ^_^"

Usually. As for the second two, If you woke up and had them, yes they'd be weak and yes you'd be unbalanced. But if you had them from a young age, you would most definitely strengthen different sets of muscles to aid with balance. Your arms wouldn't change too much.

Also, check out the Maximum Ride series. It's about a group of kids who were subject to genetic experimentation and had avian DNA spliced into theirs.

The centre/er of balance would be horribly off because of the position of our hips/pelvis/place-that-they're-at and we would be kind of diagonal in the air, causing drag with our legs, and being all slanted and bad.

Your arms would be a lot weaker due to shared muscles, I believe.

And thanks, I'll make sure to check that out :3

Oh look, somewhere to spam.

Clair's wings have a standard avian anatomy, although the way they connect to her body doesn't use any specific muscles or materials. They just *are*.

Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

The clothing problem is an easy fix; just cut slits into the back of all her shirts.

And then how do they go on and off?

Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee

Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her

Tuck them in against their bodies when they aren't using them, duh.

My progress report

Vixen could go half dragon with scale armor and wings.

It's quite like copy and pasting the dragon wing on her back really.

Chloe - That cheerful girl with ponytail.

Aigis - The male cyborg that looks like raiden in MGR.

Vixen - Half dragon female who looks like Mary in DMC3 when in human form.

Check this one out. Warning, even though there is nothing explicit, someone could consider it nsfw. http://www.sixthleafclover.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_9&products_id=416

Yeah, nothing really explicit there, but I can understand people not wanting to open that up with someone standing behind them.

Personally, the thing I find most disturbing about it is the non-mammal mammaries. Is that weird?
