    • Creative and Fast Creation Time
    • Logic and Fast Creation Time
    • Creative and Slow Creation Time
    • Logic and Slow Creation Time

Why is this multiple choice? The options are all pretty exclusive and I don't see how more than one can apply.

While I've had a tulpa appear quickly, I put myself down as slow because every little advance comes very slowly and with great effort. Once one tulpa manages something though, the others can pick it up pretty quickly. It's like my mind is blocking these things out or needs to be trained to accept them.

Also, logical and not very creative.

Multiple choice for those who consider themselves equally good at logic and creativity.

EDIT: Seems my post has been misinterpreted as a suggestion. It's actually a reply to Chupi's question in the previous post.

I take all responsibility for the faulty, transparent poll choices. Even though the poll does not contain choices for those with equal logical and creative dominance, I'm intrigued to here from your experiences.

However, the poll is to test my specific hypothesis of how these 2 dominances, when not equal, affect creation times.

Even still, I'd wanna hear from those who aren't in the shown categories.

ANYWAY, if we can all get past the fact that my poll is awful lol, I'd love to hear about the personal relationship between you and your tulpa(e) given your brain's dominance and creation time.

Honestly, I'm having a hell of a hard time creating my tulpa. It seems it will take a while for it to be imposed or even sentient. But, that's not gonna stop me. And I'm the kind of guy who graduated top of his class but couldn't even draw a stick figure for my life x) I feel terrible every time I try to draw my best anything. And then my little brother draws something in five minutes that totally kicks ass. I'm jealous.

And his tulpa is way ahead in the creation process! lol that bastard. Then again, fast speed could be a bad thing depending on how well the tulpa is maintained.

Also, I was hypothesizing that Logic = slow creation, creativity = speedy creation, and the polls seem to be reflecting that. Just sayin'.

"Tulpa" sounds like an ice cream topping.

I think I'm more logical than creative (since I can never think of an idea to write/draw/post about) and I've had medium-slow progress, 3 months and no vocality yet. Seems like a lot of people are in the same boat looking at the poll.

I'm really likin' the way this poll is goin', the way its laying out to actually reveal something. I was afraid none of the groups would stand out.

Just in case people are feeling a bit biased or pressured, a logically dominant brain doesn't mean the person is more intelligent. So, ;) don't be afraid to show your creative side. Just take a look at Sand and Roswell lol.

"Tulpa" sounds like an ice cream topping.

Something doesn't seem right here.

Is it commonly believed that logic and creativity are opposites, in any sense?

From my experience, it would seem that being logical would help enhance your creativity. That seems to be the way it works for me, and for others that I've heard of.

In any case, while I do have at least a decent bit of both, I'd say I lean a little bit further to the logical side, and I've had slow progress.

There is something I wonder about this poll, and how it seems to be reflecting the fact that "creative" people have faster development time. From my experience, people who would consider themselves "creative" (in their words), are people who would also usually consider themselves "open-minded". The exact word I'm looking fro appears to be slipping my mind, but those people generally seem to be more gullible, as well (I don't mean this any a bad way, really. Remember, it's not the word I was looking for). And when it comes to creating a tulpa; the biggest part of it is convincing yourself that they exist, are sentience, etc. I'd imagine being "open-minded", and... Whatever word I was looking for earlier, would help greatly expedite the development of the tulpa, as it is based around it.

As for people who consider themselves logical, they are usually people who over-analyse things, people that may have a hard time not being at least a little skeptical about the tulpa phenomenon, which hinders progress.

I think this may be a possibility as to why the results are the way they seemed to be.

I also want to add that it's very possible that some of the people who answer the poll don't truly recognize whether they are more logical, or creative.

It seems most people these days are not very self-aware.

Those kinds of people may muddy up the poll results, a little.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Maybe not exactly opposites. Just different.

Well, the whole idea is to delude yourself into thinking you're hearing voices until you actually start to hear them for real. So being gullible may be a plus.

As for people who consider themselves logical, they are usually people who over-analyse things, people that may have a hard time not being at least a little skeptical about the tulpa phenomenon, which hinders progress.

That makes sense. Personally, I try to find out how and why something is possible. If I can't figure it out, I may begin to doubt that it's possible in the first place. Unfortunately, tulpas are no exception.

Then how about people take the personality type test from here? I think the sensing vs intuition part corresponds to logic vs creativity.
