Haha my thoughts exactly! It added a lot of time to the cleaning process to show her how a bolt action rifle works, but it was worth it to see her so intrigued by what each individual component does.

The STARS uniform she's borrowed from Jill makes this new-found interest of hers even more amusing.

This might be my worst idea yet, but now that I finally have a zippo of my very own, I can't resist passing on my repertoire of tricks to my tuppers. I figure it'd be kind of cool to develop a teacher/student bond with them, even if the only thing I currently feel capable of effectively teaching them involves playing with fire.

As for teaching them this art through possession, I don't think I'm masochistic enough to give that a try.

Two words: Screw Tetris.

I've renewed my effort to find out exactly how lack of sleep personally affects my tulpaforcing, and I'm about to find out. I've already found out how it affects my irritability threshold the hard way.

I figure if I don't go to tulpaforce now, I'm not going to have a monitor very much longer. Already my tired state of mind has me in what I can only equate to a drunken stupor, although alcohol never makes me this irritable. After being cheated by a glitch-filled round of Tetris (yep, I've relapsed), I nearly socked my monitor real good in order to 'teach Tetris a lesson for screwing with me'. Already this logic makes no sense to me, so I know it's either time to tulpaforce or sleep.

Hey, now I actually have something to vent to my tuppers about.

Also, there are now four potential new names for Uni. She put forth Cybil and Syldra as I stepped out of the shower. Had to look the latter name up, turns out it's a Final Fantasy reference. Never heard the name or played that particular FF game in my life. Strange.

It's not a reference if you didn't know about it beforehand. It's a coincidence. Actually, no, it's not, because the chances of there being a popular video game with a character in it that has a randomly-picked name is pretty high

lol :3 imposing is fun neon and you know what tsubaki is really cheery and loving me now its cute last night i was imposing her and she was so shy but cute me and her slept the night away still working on the voices tho

Man, it's a reference. When a TV show makes a reference to something that I've never heard of before, that's still a reference, it isn't a "coincidence". If the name she'd come up with was something common in American or any English-speaking culture, like 'Jane' or something like that, then I'd agree, but no. Syldra.

I plan to give imposition a try really soon, depending on how quickly development continues along. That's great that Tsubaki loves you so much! :D Good luck with voices, that part can be pretty tricky. I'm also still working on voices with both of my tuppers, actually.

I'm not referring to the viewer, I'm referring to the writers/directors/producers. Let's take the situation with your tulpa's name, and put it with four possible contexts, involving me reading the report and you posting the report:

NeonKnights knows about the name being in FF beforehand (and purposely chooses the name because of it), Lacquer knows about the name being in FF beforehand: This is a reference because you consciously knew about the connection and applied it. If I knew about it beforehand or not doesn't matter.

NeonKnights does not know about the name being in FF beforehand, Lacquer knows about the name being in FF beforehand: This is not a reference because referencing something is a conscious, premeditated act, and you couldn't have applied knowledge of the reference material because that knowledge didn't exist. If I knew about it beforehand or not doesn't matter.

(the last situation of these four is what actually happened)

I'm not sure why this matters so much to you, honestly. I consider it a reference to Final Fantasy because all that came up when I Googled the name was, you guessed it, a bunch of videos and wiki pages on Final Fantasy. It's not really that important, is it?

Ah. Can't fault you for that.

I think she's dropped the name Syldra altogether, so I guess it was all for nothing anyhow.
