When the creator of the Tulpa dies, does the Tulpa disappear or can the Tulpa stay? Because I once heard a story where when the creator of a Servitor died, the Servitor stayed and the Servitor began disturbing the creator's girlfriend.

Could have been a demon, they could easily have fooled the creator and swapped places with the Tulpa, then continues to torment the deceased members friends/family. Could also be a strong psychic imprint, or perhaps a bit of his psyche was left in her.

A thought entity that survives off it's creator's attention and exists solely in his/her memories can't possibly survive without the 'host'.

It would be cool if it were possible though. Then I'd make many servitors to haunt people I don't like.

Tupper is in the mind, like we are. Body dies, mind dies, we die, tupper dies. Hard to say if a tupper could survive without the host (not talking about the body here) because who the fuck wants to test this egocide thing out, but without the body, the thing keeping us all alive is gone.

Using my 'spiritual mode' I's day that a tulpa could leave the body as a separate apirit or soul like a ghost. I'm thinking that tulpæ even reincarnate just as humans and animals do.

Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account.

I think we need to distinguish the two types of tulpas being discussed on these boards. One is solely mental the other is mental-plus or transmental or whatever you want to call it. A mental tulpa would of course die when the mind that houses it dies. Boom. The other kind are by design meant to have an existence outside the creator, so they could live. Even if they were confused by the absence of the creator. So please everyone review the forum you are on and make comments that are germane to that forum. This little forum is supposed to be for the folks that believe in trans-mental tulpas. All the others are for mental tulpas. Thanks and sermon out.

I'm not so sure the two are different at all. If you believe in trans-mental ones, perhaps the non-believers' tulpae are trans-mental as well, only they don't acknowledge it. If you don't, obviously the ones of those who do are the same, just with a bit of hocus-pocus nonsense added on.

Same deal as with souls. If you believe in them, you still see those who don't as having one, just not seeing the truth about their existence. If you don't, you see those who do as not having one, just deluding themselves.

So mental are those ones that only the creator can see and transmental are the ones that everybody can see, as some people believe?

Exactly. A tulpa is a tulpa. Exactly what it is besides that, is unknown. But what you believe they are has no affect on what they really are. A tulpa owned by a trans-mental believer is the same as a tulpa made by a non-believer, regardless of who is right.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

All things being equal, the creator of the tulpa can design the tulpa ever how they want to. If you want your tulpa to glow or be seen by other people that can be done. It takes more power and effort but it can be done. Like maybe you want a wolf tulpa to scare off a rapist or something. I think we limit our tulpas by our beliefs, so that if I don't believe that a tulpa can exist outside my imagination then it ipso facto can't. We are plowing such old ground now. I hope we can respect other viewpoints even if we don't subscribe to them. And I still think we can learn from each other no matter what our viewpoints are. In fact I am thinking of creating a mental tulpa just for myself. No not really, but the model of that kind of tulpa has informed my relationship with my tulpas.
