I've noticed that (while not all the time) whenever I looked at my tulpa, she would be looking back at me. I think this could probably be related to how babies use eye contact to develop early relations with other humans.

[i just find his face fascinating, I guess that's how I can put it.]

I'm curious to know if any of you have noticed this phenomenon before and of your idea of what this could be about.

(Additionally, I think I've also found an interesting visualization excercise where one has their tulpa mirror their every move while he/she is facing them. Tried it once so far but have yet to try it during active tulpaforcing.)

Well, you and your tulpa can know when you are looking at each other, and people tend to look at people who are looking at them, so I'd say it's normal behavior.

Most of the time. Except when she's sullen (because of me) or... "M-m-m... Leave me alone! Pillow~~"

Well, whenever i visualize her i also look straight at her so i think that's quite normal, isn't it?

現実に抗え!

Yeah, I never really thought about it, but my tulpa does tend to be looking at me, almost every time I look at him.

But then again, like Ennervate said, it could be considered completely normal behavior.

After all, you two are very close.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Me: "Hmm..."

*Looks at tulpa*

*Tulpa is staring at me*

...Yeah, she usually does that.

...Yay

If they're not fiddling with things, yes.

I was going to say they can feel it when you look at them, but a quick survey of mine got "kinda" to "not really". Still, they'll usually know if you're looking at them unless they're absorbed in something. The natural response to being looked at is to look back.

I know they can at least feel if I focus on them in a certain way or watch them intently. Staring at a sleeping or zoned out tulpa for a couple minutes often wakes them up.

Unless there's something else to look at, I guess I'm the only one to be looked at. Often we both kinda stare at each other if we're in the same room and all, but if I'm not paying him too much attention, apparently Roswell doesn't really pay me too much attention then, either. Staring at the cat or out of the window are also popular choices if doing passive imposition, which we aren't really doing that often these day though so eh. I have noticed that if we walk side by side outside, he usually keeps his eyes forward, often glancing at me after a while if I look at him.

She does, but in a natural way. If we're having a conversation she'll shift her gaze or perform actions depending on what we're talking about instead of looking at me straight on like a deer stuck in the headlights. Same for when she's occupied with something, like if we read she doesn't usually look up at me unless it's needed.

All the smucking time man. Especially with Snow. Whether lying down or standing up, or sitting doing god knows what, if I look at her, she'll be looking in the general direction I was looking before looking dead at me. Otherwise, I kind of have to ask her to look back the way she was. Sometimes she'll listen, sometimes she'll hesitate before turning back, but she's always looking at me when I look at her. All... fucking... ways... or at least usually.
