Hornets April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 When I was a kid, I had really vivid and creatively made imaginary friends. I could visualize them really well to the point where they would move around solid objects when they walked next to me. It felt like they were a different part of me, as if they weren't just imaginary friends. Now that I have tulpae, the easiest part for me was being able to impose them in their environment. Anyone else like this as well? Doesn't have to be just visualization.
Guest Anonymous April 24, 2013 April 24, 2013 I didn't have imaginary friends... but I did have the Knight Lore. Stupid stupid mindfanfiction thing with a crossover of everything I ever saw on television, everything I saw in a movie... It was so hype. Anyway, thinking about that so much definately helped my visualization.

Anyway, thinking about that so much definately helped my visualization. Nice to know I'm not the only one who did this. And yes, because of it visualization was no problem. The only problem was training myself to stop doing it once I made Pix because 1) It's embarrassing as all get-out when someone can actually see it and 2) I'm constantly paranoid that the characters are all going to become tulpae if I think too much about it.
glitchthe3rd April 25, 2013 April 25, 2013 Yes, seeing as how my imaginary friends turned into tuppers. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
Hornets April 25, 2013 Author April 25, 2013 Yes, seeing as how my imaginary friends turned into tuppers. Is it bad I actually fear this might happen if I think of my old imaginary friends again? I only want two, but I'm still scared I might accidentally make an old imaginary friend an actual tulpa.

If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Hornets April 25, 2013 Author April 25, 2013 If you believe that it won't happen, then it won't. I've created a tulpa just by thinking of the concept of it, so I dunno :B Everyone's different with this stuff
Merman April 25, 2013 April 25, 2013 I always thought some children's imaginary friends were tulpas. Since they're the kid's best friend, the kid gives it lots of attention and love, and they think it's a real living companion. All the ingredients for a tulpa, right? Especially when they have long conversations with their 'imaginary' buddy. My Progress Report
Spice April 26, 2013 April 26, 2013 I had a couple of imaginary friends. First few were when I was little, and I could sometimes see them, but not really. Up until I started work on Spice Ihad a friend called sebastian, who might have even been developed considering I didn't have to think about parroting any more. I think it's helped me out a lot with staying still and thinking about my tupper and especially remembering them. -shrug- Despite the name, the host bodybody is the one usually using this account. Spice was born in 2013 and Tomoe was born in 2014.
Azure April 26, 2013 April 26, 2013 Yeah, indeed it helped. My tulpa begun as an imaginary friend, and I have no problem with visualization. The only problem is, since I've had imaginary friends for as long as I can remember and I always parroted them, now sometimes I'm still scared that I'm parroting my tulpa.
