omegaAnubis June 13, 2013 June 13, 2013 Aura is possessing me and walking the dogs, when the leash raps around his hand and the large dog pulls, starting to crush his hand Aura: Ahh fuck, what is this feeling Me: It's pain aura Aura: ow! i really don't like this! i am forever banned from drinking orange juice because my tulpa hates it with a burning passion
omegaAnubis June 13, 2013 June 13, 2013 i see, aura didn't feel pain before he experienced it, but he could have easily gone into my memories to see how it felt. he and nova did that with my senses so he could actually experience it even though they hadn't possessed me yet. in their normal tulpa state they can ignore any senses too i am forever banned from drinking orange juice because my tulpa hates it with a burning passion
Chupi June 17, 2013 June 17, 2013 L\ When we want to, yes. We can turn off the perception of pain if we don't want to feel it. Lyra: human female, ~17 Evan: boy, ~14, was an Eevee Anera: anime-style girl, ~12; Lyra made her My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)
EnEllDee June 17, 2013 June 17, 2013 Mine can choose. Eris chose not to when she "birthed" Danielle. Aurora did not when she "birthed" Sarah and Jamie. for instance. The original edgelord gone soft. I have a guide, check it out here if you want: https://pastebin.com/FEJsxNVQ
Tulpony June 18, 2013 June 18, 2013 Mine don't seem to be capable of feeling pain themselves, only through me. They feel it when I get hurt, and don't seem to be capable of blocking that. But any time they get "injured" they feel nothing at best and "weird" at worst. For example when Cordy's imposed in his pillow and I accidentally pinch him while grabbing it, he'll say "Ow," but when I ask if it hurt he'll just say it felt weird. And of course he and Pix are constantly beating each other up with various weapons, but neither gets so much as a scratch afterwards.
Couguhl June 18, 2013 June 18, 2013 My tulpa doesn't seem to really experience pain either, she just reports a weird feeling. We need a poll! Tulpa: Sierra Forcing since July 2012 Couguhl’s Progress Report
Hornets June 19, 2013 June 19, 2013 Fancyboy: We don't usually experience pain. We can choose to when we want to, but usually I don't think we'd want to.
Linkzelda June 20, 2013 June 20, 2013 I recently had the intention of having a lucid dream with Eva, and hopefully showing her what it would really feel like when her existence is at an ultimatum, and that she would either have to kill me in the lucid dreaming for her own sake of survival and understanding the fear of feeling pain or even death herself, or I would have to enforce so much willpower into myself into having the intent to kill her completely, but obviously stopping to hopefully get her to feel what we occasionally feel in waking life. Then I realize that had a risk of potentially traumatizing her, or even twisting her to where she might express passive-aggressiveness because she wouldn't want to kill me, but would try to sublimate that trauma in some way. Sometimes it even annoys me that I can't even guide my tulpa into conceptualizing what it feels like to have pain when it's something I would want to avoid at all cost. I guess if I were to want to run a lucid dreaming simulation to teach her and let her experience it firsthand in a dream, she'd share the same desire I want to just excel despite of the short lifespan we have. I know what I said would probably make people disgusted, but I feel that ultimately, if our tulpa wanted to become stronger, they would have to have the fear instilled in their minds as well rather than us only giving them positive intentions. I feel that's just one of few factors that we're so afraid of doing despite of the fact that it will most likely make them realistic, competent, empathetic, compassionate, and creative beings that we want them to be. But to answer OP's question, no, Eva doesn't experience pain, at least from how she reacts to it in dreams or even my thoughts of being worried or scared at the thought of her dying. She almost has extreme apathy towards pain seeing as because she hasn't experienced what it's like to be in a human body, but rather only indulged herself mentally. I think the physical aspect, or creating a near-perfect simulation in a lucid dreaming would teach her how pain feels. It's a huge gamble, but I feel pain itself and teaching it is the part where we as hosts have to become the very same guides we would want our tulpa to do for our lives. Of course, I would obviously have to explain later on to her, but it seems now she's interested in having it happen to her just so she can feel what it's like (for a learning experience). The intent to destroy them even though both host and tulpa know it's not going to really happen...I wonder how the hell I'm going to make that work out. *rubs forehead* 7 Hours of Active Forcing 8 Hours & 29 Minutes of Active Forcing 10 Hours of Active Forcing
