Dr. Faust August 26, 2013 August 26, 2013 Well, we could allow the forum to be a "hosts" only kind of thing. No allowing Tulpa to speak in forum posts. No in depth transcriptions of your imaginative adventures. Structured conversations about how your "Forcing" sessions are going and the strength of your perceptions. Then you shove all the RP stuff to the social network.
Linkzelda August 26, 2013 August 26, 2013 Let's change this to Host.info guise. Strip all the details with tulpa and their interaction with their host and just talk about the host instead. Best idea on this forum. 5/5 would approve with sarcasm. @Dr. Faust, I think you're just insecure with whatever a host does with their tulpa or something because of the skewed misconceptions people have with what actual roleplaying is and what isn't a conscious or unconscious effort to fulfill a role. With this logic, people are going to assume when a host goes to their wonderland, it's suddenly roleplaying. Then if they try to do possess/switching, it's suddenly roleplaying, then when it's parallel processing, it's roleplaying. *rubs forehead* Wow, societal expectations and false "credibility" is kind of embarrassing on this forum. Or you're just being sarcastic, if so, just ignore this post :P 7 Hours of Active Forcing 8 Hours & 29 Minutes of Active Forcing 10 Hours of Active Forcing
Dr. Faust August 26, 2013 August 26, 2013 Meh, I was just offering a reason why we should use a social network. To take the issue I put forth more seriously, the forums should come with some sort of disclaimer/message that 1. The imagination of one person is not guaranteed to be acceptable to the next person so when you post descriptive accounts of your imagination, there may be times when you may be ridiculed. Similarly you might read posts which you yourself want to ridicule. Resist the urge to do so. Discuss your inner working and the inner workings of others with discretion. 2. The main focus of this forum should not be what we're imagining but how strongly we perceive these objects. Frankly speaking for myself, I think role playing and even outright lying about your tulpaforcing adventures is just another form of forcing, albeit a weaker one than most. Philosophically, I find it hard to admit someone could just "make up something about their imagination" without in some small way doing a little bit of imagining in the act of posting whatever story they have. On the same note, there are still posts and topics I don't care to read about (such as role playing and extended transcriptions of imagination adventures and even posts written by tulpai). I just look for ways to increase the perception of my imagination.

Well, it's kind of hard to be dichotomous from the unconscious mind when it comes to imagination or anything really for whatever way/scenario/etc. So philosophically, you're probably just worrying bit too much on that, and as for the being ridiculed part by others, being worried about people's opinions on what you do with your tupperware in this forum is like being intimidated by pre-schoolers mocking at you because you have the cooties. Welp. In comes societal expectations on this forum once more, I'd just say have fun with the PRs. People just ridicule most of the time because of their own insecurities, or are jealous that a person is actually doing something than refreshing a page on this forum. Sands August 26, 2013 August 26, 2013 As a tip, no one ever is jealous of someone when they say that person is doing something wrong. That's just what your mother said back in elementary school to make you feel better when you got teased. Critics are very important in our society as they are who say the cold hard truth we have to hear, the shit our friends can't bring themselves to say to us. Oguigi September 1, 2013 September 1, 2013 From my experience the IRC #tulpa.info in the Rizon server is pretty social, lots of like minded people with tulpas that you can talk to. pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.

If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
