"Safe Place" - Wonderland Guide

Seeing as how this guide is really the same wonderland idea we already have, but with some metaphysical interpretation and trappings layered on top of it, I'm moving it to the meta section.

 

If it were still something new when you take away the meta parts, I'd leave it in Guides, idea being that non-meta people can just ignore the meta bits and still have something helpful.

If only now we could also get people aware of the fact that "metaphysics" is a branch of philosophy, and not necessarily magic. Oh well, guess you can't ask for too much.

I didn't really understand that, Linkzelda, although I got the part about thinking that you're expecting scientific evidence.

 

Are you implying that anecdotes would satisfy that? I still don't think that someone needs any proof in their guide if they say they're instructing you to create a safe place and supposedly they're invadeable by info.. or even if its actually about wonderlands, although I know that people won't just believe it because creator said so.

Anecdotes do not matter, unless you are the one in the anecdote. In which case one would have all the evidence one would need to convince self. All right, some historical context and maybe some levity. The Magick term for refuge or safe place is "Astral Temple". In the Silva method you are asked to create a mental lab. I prefer to think of it has "laughing place" because Tigger says we all need one. What I do is I mentally go to someplace that had a physical existence, but is no more. The old yellow house I used to live in, for instance. It maybe exists on the astral, but certainly in memory. So from there, I have a car pick me up and take me to a place of my creation. On the ride over there are discussions with my guides. (It is a big car.) Then I do whatever it is that I came to do. And then I retrace my steps back to ordinary reality. Finis.

Aw, I wouldn't say they don't matter. Remember the grandfather and Lucy in Narnia. Sometimes it goes against logic to not take them in.

You're not reading anything, I never stated she has to back every single aspect of her guide with scientific evidence. I was only focusing on one part that would cause confusion to those who may worry about others "intruding" into their minds. She can't make a claim that others can access each others' minds to distort or affect the wonderland.

Yes, I'm making a male tulpa. I have a girlfriend in the real world, and having a female tulpa would be very strange.
