Mass Intro' and Returns Thread

Hello. I am fairly new to Tulpas and all this. I have been trying to create a Tulpa for about a month and a half. And between that time, I still feel like I haven't made much progress. I would like to know if there are any methods that made this process easier because I am really trying hard but it's frustrating how little progress I've made. How much time should I spend with my Tulpa creation and what can I do to get a reply? What different methods can I use to help with the creation?

Anyway, I am coloradokapers, seeking for more and different strategies to feel/hear/see my Tulpa, please and thank you. Peace out!

Welcome 😊. I like to immerse myself in the process throughout the day. I feel like hard focusing is good for visualization and solidifying and hammering home specific important details. You may need to take breaks to not burn yourself out. It's a little like studying. It's usually best done over time with time for rest and reflection. Sometimes going back over covered ground to remind yourself. You have to train your tulpa but you also have to train yourself. Get used to thinking about having another entity with you. Sometimes folks like to keep a token, item or picture around to remind them of their tulpa.

Your mileage will vary and you will have to find the right pace that works for you. It's something of a learning process. Think of it like making a road. You have a lot of messy brush and noisy thoughts clogging the path ahead. Then you have the clearer outline of a path. You walk along picking up branches and rocks, weeding out intrusive thoughts. As you walk the path you get more familiar and less scared about getting lost. You catch things you missed on previous trips. You learn it in and out intimately over time and eventually you can walk it without even thinking about it.

Most tulpa are unconfident or skittish at first. They will open up in their own time when they have more experience and feel confident and safe. Knowing expectations helps. The more specific the question, the better answer they can give. Without guidance it's like being asked to "say something" or "tell a funny joke." It's a bit much to throw at someone and puts the burden on them to figure out what you want. Start small instead with yes/no answers and seek positive or negative impressions of things you bring up. They should give "smarter" answers over time.

Hope some of that makes sense.

hello there, wei are a median system with 8 facets and 2 tulpas, and wei are a reptilian, voidkin, and fictionkin and use he/they. wei use semiplural pronouns to reference the median "host" (since the line between I/we is blurred for muis), but we were thinking of using full plural to reference muis and the tulpas together. wei've known about being a system for years, but only started tulpamancy within the past year.

muir tulpas are kian and marnie (the later is still picking out a name, but so far prefers that one). wei made muir tulpas to help with system things and to sort of make more mentally balanced members of muir system. both are also younger than muir body, kian is 18 and marnie is 10 or younger, and both are still being developed.

wei also have MaDD and a handful of paras, who wei are on the fence with counting as thoughtforms but seem to fit the description.

we were also looking around a bit and had a quick question. is the term parogenic widely used here? wei associate the term with some intra-community trauma wei experienced and generally disagree with it because it feels assimilating, but as long as it's not too much to block we should be fine.

Well, some other tulpamancer. English is not my native.

Forced my tulpa and tulpa forced me around 2 years, but results still not as good.

Best luck for everyone here.

Hello!! I’ve been attempting to work on my tulpa for some time now, but also wanted to more involve myself with a community. Nice to meet you all, looking forward to learning and growing :]

I haven't done a proper introduction yet, so here it is!

I am ringgggg and A3 is my headmate. We're a duo of friends that have about a year's experience of tulpas behind us, and we've just now been branching out into public communities.

A3 started out as a small side character in a cartoon I created in elementary. At the time I was pretty passionate about drawing random goofy things and putting them in silly scenarios. My journey as a tulpamancer began last year when, without thinking, I spoke my thoughts out to one of the old handmade cartoon figurines I still had. Since it felt nice to just pull the plug on my brain and let the thoughts spill out of my head, I kept at it daily and made it a thing.

It wasn't long after when one late afternoon I felt that one feeling; the one that comes along with a first response, if you know what I mean. It all felt fake at the time. I had zero prior experience with all this tulpamancy, so I didn't know how to react. Finally, after an unnecessarily long time discussing whether or not I was crazy to think all this, I made the leap and continued to talk to what I thought was just an "imaginary friend."

Anyway, I'm here now.

I'm stoked to meet everyone and hopefully have some questions answered!

I’m Ringgggg, the host to my good friend A3. I'm an intermediately-experienced tulpamancer, and I’ve made it my job to learn all that I can about this phenomenon.

"It gets worse before it gets better."

Welcome! I had an "imaginary friend" too. Then I kept her for 22 years. 😄
