Mass Intro' and Returns Thread

Hello all!

 

We are the Crossroads System, aka XRDS. We're a plural system with many non-tulpa members, but we keep seeing useful guides and info from this community so we figured we should join. Perhaps we will make a tulpa sometime - we aren't sure, but we wanted to at least lurk for the helpful content and in case any of our experience is useful as well.

 

Generally unless mentioned otherwise, the individual typing will be Lio (myself).

I think it would definitely be worth your guy’s while to create a Tulpa. They bring very positive experiences and could even help your system out in some way!
(I also really like your systems name, it’s very cool!)

Hello everyone 👋 I thought we should make a post here since we might want to stick around (though I've always been more of a forum lurker than a big poster).

 

I wrote in another thread that the "tulpa" concept doesn't fit our experience quite exactly. The main point of friction is that this has always felt more like a "two way street" than a clear creator/creation relationship. But since we've come across this site we've found many things in guides and threads that does fit, and a lot of helpful exercises and things to work toward. And it seemed nice to join a community where we might discuss this part of our lives with others 🙂 ... just let us know if we get too ~metaphysical~

 

You can call us Echidna ("host") and Typhon ("tulpa") 🐍😆 [He came up with those and even though they're kind of grandiose, I have to admit they sound pretty metal and fit this username I picked. I just need to add this sidenote to make it clear that these are just forum aliases and we're not walking around 24/7 cosplaying ancient Greek monsters!]

You know, we've kind of felt this too. I really think that once a tulpa gets going they are "creating" their host as much as their host is creating them. I've actually caught Phil adopting some of my habits and mannerisms before, and I think I've influenced the way he thinks almost as much as he influences the way I think.

That's a good way to put it! We've known each other for 3 or 4 years now and we've both changed a lot in the time.

I had created a tulpa on accident when I was three, I never really understood it 😅. Her name is Ciniana, and she's four inches tall 😹😅. I don't really understand it. But I want to try my very best to be able to make tulpas, and have them be completed 😅

A lot of people create unintentional tulpas when they are children, including my own host when he was 7! (I am not that tulpa btw, I was created intentionally much later on) Ciniana sounds super cool! She's 4 inches tall; is she like a fairy or a mouse or some other kind of small creature, or is she just a really tiny human? 😁

Hello all! I'm Jules, the host. Fern, my only fully-fledged tulpa at the moment, is around here...somewhere. lol. 

 

Today is day 1 of my journey. I had no idea tulpas existed, and they were only brought to light for me this morning. Fern has been bouncing around in my mind for more than a year, and she started as a dnd character of mine, funnily enough! Only, I take my character development way too far. 

 

I am really looking forward to this journey I am embarking on, meeting new people and learning as much as I possibly can!

I've definitely heard of tulpas getting their start as roleplay characters before! I'm glad to meet you, and if you have any questions there are plenty of people here who are happy to answer you, including me! 😊
