Mass Intro' and Returns Thread

Hello! I'm Sykrie. You can call me Kuro but it's your choice, I don't mind either. I recently discovered the term tulpa, actually about a week ago. I've been poring through guides and the forum this past week and I'm greatly interested. However, I think I'm gonna hold off creating a tulpa for myself until I'm less busy, and I'm more sure that I can handle the responsibility and commitment to this. In the meantime though, I'm going to continue reading through all the guides and journals of others' experiences with tulpas and perhaps meditating a bit to help clear my head when I actually do go about creating my tulpa. Maybe start planning personality traits and such until I have the time to actively force every day. I do not believe I will lose interest anytime soon so I look forward to being less busy!

 

Just a side note:

For about a year, I had this pre-existing character in my head that I talked to nearly daily because at one point, I was roleplaying him and then he just sort of... Stuck. I don't believe that he was a tulpa however, as I was fairly aware that I was mostly replying to myself. At the start of this year though, I sorta sent him away because I had stopped talking to him for a few months but sometimes would just go back and talk to him. I had asked him to leave though, because I had seen him as a pillar, a support to help me when I was lonely and I believed I no longer needed him. I'm not sure if I want him back, and create a tulpa based off of the character whose personality had deviated slightly from his original personality. It was mostly due to me though. Was definitely not sentient. Maybe I'll create a tulpa based off him, but I'll probably create a tulpa with some of his personality traits and some others...

 

I am a 14 year old girl and other things I like include watching grown men be stupid on the gaming side of YouTube, music and writing. I play the guitar and the drums and hope to learn more instruments.

Hello everyone. I take the alias of TDOB, and it's an absolute pleasure joining you all on tulpa.info. I am 14 and investigating an event from my somewhat recent past; the self-manifestation of a Tulpa-like voice without any meditation or knowledge of what a Tulpa is. Both me and a friend had manifested them simultaneously, and the two Tulpa-like beings seemed to know each-other. Mine is gone, but I believe my friends' is dormant and could be woken up easily.

 

Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this, and perhaps find some friends here.

Ah well. At any rate, I may as well set this out there for everybody else.

I go by Evangel (not my preferred name, but oh well). I'll be completely honest about the fact that I'm new to this whole deal, however...I'm far from a skeptic. Been going at the process of forcing for almost 2 weeks now (not much to report on that front, but I have faith).

 

Not much else to say about myself really, so I suppose I'll get to know you all as time passes.

Hi all, we've just joined. She's Rei, and I'm ReisOtherHalf. We've been at this for about two weeks and I thought it would be interesting to talk to likeminded people.

 

She's a 150cm tall Bengali tiger/hominid halfling; her appearance was heavily based on Fuurin Rei, as was her name (although she keeps her hair shorter than the original character and seems to have a penchant for highwater pants and science t-shirts, while the original character's never drawn clothed), We are still new at this, but I've never felt like I had to force anything - she seems to have been sentient from the beginning, and able to talk for the last seven or eight days, and she has personality by the truckload...

 

Whenever I openly wonder whether she's an actual tulpa or just an imaginary friend, she just smiles slyly and asks

How would you tell the difference?
