Anyways, I'll re-introduce myself. I'm Patchlamb; I live in the southern states of the U.S.A. and have been in the process of creating a lil' tulpa buddy for a little less than a week. FallFamily April 4, 2014 April 4, 2014 I had joined right and posted here before everything was lost, so I guess I will simply introduce myself again. I am Hail Fall. I am a host in this community's terminology. I started making a tulpa a week and a half ago. Haven't received any communication from her yet. When she's ready, I will introduce her or she will introduce herself if she is up for it. I am a non-binary woman. I sort of come in here with an interesting history of relevant experiences, and many lessons I had to learn the hard way. I made a servitor several years ago, which I gave a very dangerous program. It executed its program flawlessly and really screwed me up. I had given it a certain type of write access to my memories (mostly, it could fragment them like a hard drive gets fragmented over time, and a couple other things) and its purpose was to help me fight my sexuality (didn't work, other than to scramble my memories). I also used to be multiple in the MPD/DID/DDNOS sense (I really don't like those terms and find them pretty problematic, but I am using them here because they explain what I am meaning). Had a trauma split into two (partly caused by the servitor I had made and the act of dissipating it). Shortly afterwards, a little after communication was established, we mutually decided to merge because we were freaking out that we were going insane and that there was no other way to live healthily (turns out, that is completely false). Merging took quite a while. Took a bit of a toll on memories of the experience. Was a bit surreal. Looking back, I feel like our decision to merge may have been a mistake made in haste and ignorance. Would definitely not do it again if I, UIL (Using I Loosely), had to do over again. I kind of wish I remembered more of what our switching was like. We both rode shot gun when switched out (got to watch what the other was doing) and one had some level of override controls on the body. DracoZaroff April 4, 2014 April 4, 2014 Hi. I'm new here and not really sure what to say. I find this concept fascinating and for my own reasons maybe a little terrifying. I'll possibly go into why terrifying after I get an answer to a couple questions. I guess the first thing I'd like to ask is this. Is it possible for someone to accidentally create a tulpa? My second question goes like this. Is it possible to create a tulpa with something other than (what would be a good way to put it) actual communication? Perhaps with an emotion or other kinds of feelings?
SableXIV April 5, 2014 April 5, 2014 Hello, just started here today, though I've been stalking around for about a week now. Started on my tulpa a few weeks ago and so far only head pressure, which I'm taking as a great sign that I can actually make this happen and ya'll aren't a bunch of Role Players.
