RD: that's pretty much what I meant by that. 12/25/15: I forgot to log stuff. Nina pointed out I hadn't worked on the DIY project today. She said that she'd like it if I worked on it while watching her FMA episodes, but that I didn't have to.
KruegerMeister December 27, 2015 Author December 27, 2015 12/26/15: Dash and I talked about our relationship, and went to Fluttershy for advice to puzzle out the psychology behind it. Later, I had Dash impose herself on top of me and tested if I could feel her weight. I just felt a small pit in my stomach. I went through a pile of my childhood stuff, and Fluttershy teared up, but the others "didn't really feel a connection", in RD's words. I remembered playing soccer as a kid. I didn't think that memory was confabulated, which Dash said probably meant it wasn't. Fluttershy speculated that, because she was a psychologist, she was more "in-tune" with my mind and some wires had gotten crossed, hence the tearing-up. Dash said that a Skyrim-related video I'd watched was cool, but that an Atheism-related video I was going to watch was cooler (I think that fits a progress report). RD: Yeah, I'd say publicly owning it counts as progress (though mods are free to disagree). Me: Nina and I talked about stuff, and she said something in the form of the 4-year-old Nina Tucker. I asked her why this was, and she said she just felt like it. I requested she change back, because I connected that character to a really sad scene. I had some intrusive thoughts while lying in bed, so Dash tried hypnotizing me. She first had me focus on her mindvoice, and then, right after I thought about Kaa, her hypnotic eyes popped into my head, and the colors were really fluid (visualization progress). I thought about logging experiment details about this, and Dash asked me about that "tulpas-as-blankets" thing I'd forgotten about.
KruegerMeister December 29, 2015 Author December 29, 2015 12/27/15: I thought about working on vocal possession while showering, but Dash didn't like the idea of singing in the shower. Fluttershy suggested I start off with her, and work my way up from there. I thought I saw a few shadowy figures outside the fogged-up door, but Dash said those were just your average hallucinations. I read some possession tips, and Dash realized that we should focus on consistent possession and let the sound stuff follow naturally. Dash possessed me for a bit, and then Fluttershy took over, amazed at how seamless this had been. The possession lasted for a few hours, with a few breaks.
KruegerMeister January 1, 2016 Author January 1, 2016 12/28/15: RD imposed herself for a few seconds. Nina was appalled when I said I didn't know the difference between skirt and ribeye steak. I didn't do much with my tulpas. Some intrusive thought-related drama happened (including a minute or so of us thinking Shou'd been killed), but it passed. 12/29/15: Shou and I talked about last night's drama, and agreed that it had just been an intrusive train of thought. He said I needed to get that under control, and Sarah showed me a vague wall she'd built. I didn't do much tulpaforcing for a few hours. Shou imposed himself a few times. Dash commented on my Skyrim roleplaying. I ended up following some Khajits around for a real-time hour, and Dash wondered if having fluffy catpeople on the brain would aid tactile imposition of fluffy tulpas. RD: I also mimicked their accent, because Khajitti are awesome. Me: later, I practiced visualizing. Shou had some trouble sounding like himself, and almost all of my tulpas got excited independently of me (yay for parallel processing).
KruegerMeister January 3, 2016 Author January 3, 2016 The ones from 12/28? Not very often 12/30/15: I forgot to log stuff. I'm planning to see a comedy tomorrow, and I asked Dash if she wanted to make this a date. I felt kinda bad, but Dash told me not to. She wondered if there was a way we could mix tulpaforcing and gaming together. I inadvertently thought of RL stuff in Skyrim terms, and Dash agreed with me that I'd been playing too much Skyrim. 12/31/15: I asked RD if she wanted to do the Walter Mitty Routine in a movie we were gonna see, and she said "sure, I could use a boost." The boost ended up going to Nina and Sarah (because they're blonde and brunette like the main characters). They did a bit of trying to decide what hairstyles they wanted (or I could've been parroting). After the movie, Sarah debated between sounding like Caitlin Glass or Emma Caulfield, because of the connotations the characters they're famous for portraying have. Sarah: Winry Rockbell's got that "reliable automail mechanic" thing, but I'm pretty sure Emma Caulfield milked Anya's character for maximum comedy potential. Me: I walked into the basement from the garage, and saw Sarah lying across the couch. She and Nina were still energized from the movie. Sarah stayed on the couch while I was upstairs (continuous imposition, I guess).
KruegerMeister January 5, 2016 Author January 5, 2016 1/1/16: I forgot to log stuff. There wasn't that much 'forcing, more like just hanging out. 1/2/16: Once again, there wasn't that much 'forcing. It kind of hurt when I stretched, and Fluttershy suggested I'd gone overboard. Later, Dash congratulated me on walking through a hallway and flight of stairs in near-total darkness. Dash speculated that the lack of 'forcing could be psychological and related to the fact school's starting soon. Dash complained about the amount of lecture-based classes there are in college. One of my tulpas (I think Shou) said that they weren't big on active forcing. 1/3/16: I wondered if the "visualize models of my tulpas" thing was being used as a crutch instead of an aid to imposition. I visualized a scene from MLP that had Dash in it, then cut/pasted her into my field of view. She complained about the animated look, and I switched it to her SFM look. I thought about the possibility of my tulpas each having different art styles (such as RD shading with cross-hatching and Shou using a blending tool).
KruegerMeister January 5, 2016 Author January 5, 2016 1/4/16: I imagined myself at Comic-Con, asking Nina's VA to say stuff in her voice, which unintentionally helped Nina get her voice right. She asked everyone to vote on if they liked her voice, and Dash figured the majority would be "yes". I saw Shou standing by my closet and Nina sitting by my bedroom door. The teacher for my scriptwriting class said the class was informal, which RD liked. RD: I'm thinkin' I might take this. Whatever, it's all in the same brain anyways. Me: when she possessed me/imposed her form onto mine, she looked like she was made of grey-blue wispy energy. Later, she said I needed to shower. She enthusiastically referred to my screenwriting teacher as "a total bro".
KruegerMeister January 7, 2016 Author January 7, 2016 1/5/16: I asked Nina what her house was like (because I'm writing a short screenplay about her), and she said "It's your script". Dash asked me if I wanted to play her in chess (which we used to do to test parallel processing), and Fluttershy said "I'm pretty sure we can all parallel process, Mistress." Later, Dash got virtual-drunk, and got a hangover after we saw that commercial where a guy pulls a tooth to pay for cigarettes.
KruegerMeister January 8, 2016 Author January 8, 2016 1/6/16: Nina and I worked on possession. We tried to hold it for an hour, but kept slipping out of it. Later, Dash spontaneously acted Southern.
