If you have an intrusive thought imagine it as an article of clothing. Proceed to fold it and put it in a dresser drawer. (In your mind of course.) Lol then shut the drawer. This helps me a lot. Though sometimes I have to repeat this process to fully rid my self of the thought. I was thought this by a friend who practices meditation and has studied Buddhism. Also try meditation (normal meditation) count your breaths when doing so. Should help even more!
