Discord April 9, 2014 April 9, 2014 For me, I wanted her to be like Twilight Sparkle, because she's my favorite character of all time. Although I probably didn't focus on all of her characteristics, I just imagined her as being intelligent, with a love of knowledge, and also a bit sarcastic, but also compassionate, and recently, I decided to give her a curiosity of humans as well, and give her a bit of a love for gaming (goes well with her cool geek personality) so she will play online games. It'll be good for her development to get to know many different people, and gaming is one of the best ways to do that. As for the first characteristics, I didn't pick them just to keep her accurate to the character, I picked them because I'm gonna either be a scientist or a witch (possibly) and it's only natural for someone in either field to want their tulpa to be intelligent with a love of knowledge. The sarcasm was mostly for lulz, but also, to round her out, because an ass kisser would get boring pretty quickly. Will list tulpas when I get things sorted out in my head.

I also think I may have, without knowing until I noticed comparisons, gave him characteristics of a old character of mine who I've always adored. Which is being really kind and loving, a little childlike but being a sort of smart. So I have to make the assumption I just really like big softies. Gryphon Flight April 9, 2014 April 9, 2014 Mm, I suppose I gave emphasis on traits that I was lacking in and wanted a bit of help with, such as empathy. I gave her elements that I'd like in a friend as well, but I suppose that most of the traits I'd given her she's deviated from anyways.
JamesNintendoNerd April 9, 2014 April 9, 2014 My tulpa is based around Applejack and Lyra for the same reasons as you, honest, family oriented, caring and sarcastic at times comes from AJ, kind, friendly, and sweet is from Lyra's heritage. She's more of an Applejack than her own character, Lyra. I already chose what my next Tulpa would be, Trixie (The Great and Powerful one, not the depressed one in the MLP fanfics.) and it's too late for me to choose Applejack... can I visualize two tulpas at once?

Bin April 9, 2014 April 9, 2014 I never used traits, I just let mine grow naturally. That being, what I actually know I desire unconsciously rather than only what I think I want consciously. I never really got trait lists, it seems really silly. The most I ever did was one really general trait like "timidness" for one of them. Of course Scarlet just grew into a more laid back version of myself because I absolutely love myself. no
