When you microwave a glass of water, the container remains cool while the liquid within becomes superheated. Because the glass itself remains cool and has the properties of a frozen liquid, no bubbles form in the water, essentially keeping the water from boiling. The instant anything introduces bubbles into the water, the water boils instantly and explosively. And of course explosions are always cool. (Except when things blow up in your face when you take a glass of water out of the microwave, causing permanent scarring and blindness. Don't try this at home, because it's obviously much more fun to blow up thermite instead.)

Looks like Nimbus got it. Nimbus, do you have another one, or should we go to someone else?

A stick.

What's hard and pink when it goes in, and soft and sticky when it comes out?

(The answer is clean.)

A tongue?

Oh, no, probably gum.

You got it.

Which one was it? Gum?

I kind of thought tongue, going in and out of your mouth. Though not sure why you'd have your tongue just hanging out for an extended period of time. Plus it would just get dry, I guess—not hard.
