I've had a long love/hate relationship with the supernatural, which started over a year ago when I wanted to experiment whether or not I could really spend time with my friends, without the computer in the way. Of course, that didn't have many results worth mentioning. Later on, when I started creating a town in my wonderland, with a bunch of villagers with their own personalities and desires, I created a goddess to go with it, a faith for those people, and for myself. In the physical world, you can wait a long time before anything will manifest out of thin air, but in a mental world, a goddess can do good work. Besides fancy miracles, which certainly weren't the focus of this project, she would give great emotional support, both in the form of face to face talks, as well as direct emotional relief and support. If you believe that someone can directly influence your mind, it doesn't seem hard to achieve that. Look at hypnosis, for example. As support, this goddess was very nice to believe in, and the more religious and firm my belief, the better the results were. Of course, from the way I'm talking about it you can see that I don't believe that this is the one true god, or that I'm very deluded by faith, but what I learned from the experience is how useful faith in the supernatural can be. It can be used as a very powerful tool, for good things or bad things. I feel like experimenting with metaphysical things, and creating your own theories, can be a good way to move to the more advanced things when it comes to tinkering with your own mind. I enjoy your perspective, it seems to have an exceptional amount of experience behind it. Might I inquire on to an elaboration of your "Hate" par of your relationship? (Also thanks for taking my question seriously, as not everyone seems as accepting of the whole supernatural thing.)

What're some interesting things you've been up to recently, if any? I don't think it's very easy to even imagine how any alien life might think, and what their internal experience might be like. Any guesses would be no better than whatever any sci-fi writer has come up with throughout the years. My host's birthday was yesterday, and his father took us to It was quite varied, very technical and extremely well done. If they come over to wherever you are, I'd really recommend you go. It seems people at first were a little unsure, but as far as I can tell from here (mostly in the forum) things seem to be going just fine Yuki! :-) I popped into the chat twice this week, each time for ten minutes. I think if I am ever to do the chat rooms, it should be for a very brief visit. I can feel it start to build in me, that excited silliness I-want-attention feeling, until I am ready to pop. Ten minutes seems to be about my limit.
