sushi June 10, 2015 June 10, 2015 Excellent! This is what I hoped for! So you'll notice there are eight people left alive. Since I'm not going to vote to kill myself, that leaves seven people who might vote to kill me. Of those seven, five have voted to kill me. The other two have logged in since the topic of killing me was brought up, but have not voted to kill me yet. Haven - wants me dead Quetzal - wants me dead Kiahdaj - wants me dead Muffin Enny - wants me dead Eva - wants me dead sushi - me! NimbusArchon Yuki There are three possibilities at this point: 1. I'm innocent If this is the case, it seems likely that all three mafia members have already voted to kill me, because mafia members love to lynch innocent people and get two kills in one day. If this is the case, it's likely that Yuki and Muffin are also innocent. That would mean that I'm wrong about either Enny or Quetzal (or maybe both) and it probably means that both Kiahdaj and Eva are both mafia. 2. I'm mafia and so are Muffin and Yuki If this is the case, I probably shouldn't be calling attention to them the way I am right now. However, maybe I think that my calling attention to this fact makes them somehow less suspicious. If I die now, Muffin and Yuki are going to look very suspicious -- you two should start thinking about how to defend yourselves now. 3. I'm mafia, and at least one of my mafia partners is voting against me If this is the case, my partners would probably hold off on voting to kill me until they were sure there was no way to keep me from going down. They'd only vote then to make themselves look innocent. That would mean that they would cast the last votes against me. And what a coincidence! the last two votes against me came from the two people I told you all were probably innocent: Quetzal and Enny! Very suspicious! If I die now, Quetzal and Enny, you guys are going to have to defend yourselves very soon, and you should start thinking about that now as well. As for me, I think it's possibility #1. That makes me even more confident that Kiahdaj is mafia, so I'm not changing my vote. "Some things have to be believed to be seen." - Ralph Hodgson
Muffin June 10, 2015 June 10, 2015 You state that you are innocent, multiple times. If you are the mafia, then denying it would just shift blame onto you. If you aren't, it's making people think that you are. I do believe that you are the mafia, but one of your partners are voting against you to make people suspect the people who didn't vote for you, which didn't work out, considering Yuki is the only one who didn't vote for you. So my vote today is ##sushi Tulpas: Melody - Creation Date: October 21st, 2014 Pumpkin - Creation Date: January 2015 my mastodon - my other mastodon We're gonna try to post more often, but you know, no promises or whatever.
sushi June 10, 2015 June 10, 2015 I don't see why everyone sees me saying that I'm innocent as an admission of guilt. I think everyone here will say they're innocent if they're asked directly. Incidentally, Muffin voting to kill me doesn't in any way change my analysis. At this point, even in possibility #2, it's in Muffin's best interest to vote to kill me -- now that I've pointed out how suspicious it is that two people haven't voted to kill me yet. It's looking a lot like I'll be dead soon, so I hope you all reconsider the three possibilities I've proposed. I believe that aside from the mafia, each of you will be able to eliminate at least one of those possibilities as impossible -- if you can eliminate the other one, you might be able to defeat the mafia. Since I'll be dead soon no matter what I say, and since I won't get a chance to reveal my other suspicions once I'm already dead, I'm going to throw them out there now, and hope that after my death the right people will be able to understand and use them. Guest June 10, 2015 June 10, 2015 Sushi's starting to have a point, guys. It could all be an elaborate bluff that him and his fellow members are using to keep us confused, but are they really putting this much thought into killing one of their own? On day two? Surely that sounds stupid to some of you guys. This early in the game they could have easily started using half-arguments against other people, and hoping their votes would inspire others to follow along. Again, WAY TOO EARLY FOR ANY KIND OF REWARD, CONSIDERING HOW IT'S SUCH A SEE-THROUGH TACTIC. Which is also the beauty of it if it's what's actually going on, but I don't think it is. And if nothing else, is nobody suspicious of anyone else at all? Me, even? Sushi and I both voted for Nimbus on day one, and he dies the next night. Who's to say Sushi isn't innocent and I'm sitting back, laughing at how he's practically selling himself as mafia? Well, either way, at least one of his fellow members has voted for him. Maybe we're both mafia, and this is all a part of some elaborate plan to switch the votes while restoring trust in him, and keeping mine. I'll say it isn't, and that while it's something I'd do, put myself out there, it's both way too early in the game, and way too forward for me. I'll let you guys figure out the risks/rewards and decide my innocence, as well as how much stock I put in Sushi's. Watch me be totally wrong and he's going to murder us all, aha Changing my vote. I still wanna lynch Eva eventually, but if we can get two, maybe we can get more for ##Kiahdaj I don't think saying you're innocent is enough grounds for lynching. I'm innocent. Everyone else tell me whether you're innocent or Mafia, let's see what people say. I get that reaffirming it is suspicious, but he kinda keeps saying it now because everyone is accusing him of being Mafia. Also > More like .
Kiahdaj June 10, 2015 June 10, 2015 If we found that Sushi wasn't mafia after killing him, then I still think we would gain considerably more information than we would if we lynched anyone else, right now. I already have a decent "if it turns out he's not" idea. With that said, I actually do think that he's mafia, and one of his fellow mafia voted for him. He's looking a bit more innocent lately, but I wouldn't put it past Sushi to go this far to clear his name. I wouldn't say there's necessarily no one else I suspect, but there's no one else I suspect more than Sushi, and I think lynching him would be the most informational choice, right now. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Kiahdaj June 10, 2015 June 10, 2015 Got it, Sushi. But you know how much it would suck to be wrong, after all this? Not killing you at this point would probably assure you victory, as I don't think people would start suspecting you again. If I could really be sure, then I'd change. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I have a better option. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
