A subjective fact is not simply true. A subjective fact is conditionally true, based on observer.

 

I just have to chime in and point out there is no such thing as a subjective fact and that "objective fact" is redundant because facts are inherently objective.

There are a number of people here who speak of a subjective reality. Logically, such a reality would be composed of subjective facts. To say there is no such thing as subjective facts is to say there is no such thing as subjective reality.

 

Which, I think I'd actually agree with.

 

Though, in advanced philosophy, you sometimes run across an exotic theory of constructed reality. Or, a reality that is not discovered, but rather is created by our beliefs in what it is. Here it is. I don't think anyone actually takes it seriously.

fact might not be the right word to use, but you are right. That's using the not scientific version of the word fact. We call'em beliefs ("what is believed to be true"), but you guys don't seem to like that word any more, so idk
