Quetzal the furdragon June 11, 2015 Author June 11, 2015 Guys. Guys. This isn't what I intended with this thread, this wasn't a "share you and your tulpa's sexuality" thread. I do think it belongs on the research board because it was an experiment that I did with regarding my host's psychology. And I wanted feedback and also talk on the possible implications of this, and other instances of tulpas altering their host's psychology in some way. I mean...I think that we can be used to cure a whole sleugh of mental problems like ADHD and aspergers and social anxiety and whatnot. Anyways, I did another experiment too. I decided to try and fuck with my host's gender identity, without his knowledge. Now, this may seem like kind of a dick move, but I did it for science, and if he knew about it, the results wouldn't of been as valid. No worries, I switched it back to normal when it was over and done with. Side note, I told one of his friends what I intended on doing. And then later Ian has a chat with him, some lulz can be had. Just an FYI, this is over Steam and even though the name is Quetzal the furdragon, it's still Ian talking. I'm not the primary user of the account, like I am here, he just kinda plays it off as a fursona of his to those who don't know of my existence http://pastebin.com/8yANRpTh
Luminesce June 11, 2015 June 11, 2015 Guys. Guys. This isn't what I intended with this thread, this wasn't a "share you and your tulpa's sexuality" thread. I was about to be like, no I'm pretty sure that's what this thread was what are you talking about, then I reread the original post... Oh. Nowhere was it implied that's what the thread was about. I do think you should've done this in research though, as it's a bit of an experiment that others could participate in themselves. And I still think the way the thread was received is relevant otherwise. So maybe we can have this split into two topics. As for the intended discussion topic... I know for a fact that my female tulpas, while possessing, have been able to find men attractive that I did not. Like.. I like the guyinparticular, and I acknowledge that he looks great, but I don't feel that type of attraction to him. And my tulpas, though generally uninterested, were able to feel that attraction when they focused on it. So I don't doubt that it's possible to sway your feelings of sexuality via messing with your persona, but I'm not really interested in the secret-look-what-I-did-surprise aspect. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature. My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Luminesce June 11, 2015 June 11, 2015 Same, for my Ask thread. It was meant to be in Q&A, but people asked such casual/off topic questions I didn't intend it was better in lounge. Same here, people took your thread wrong and made it something else. Like I said, I feel like this could be two different threads, one for your original intent and one as just a discussion/collection-of-information-on tulpas' sexualities. This isn't exactly an easy split though. You might be better off changing the OP of this one and creating another in Research. Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn. TulpaFox June 11, 2015 June 11, 2015 I did post it in research originally, but then Kiahdaj moved it. Thats silly, it should probably not have been moved. It dosen't belong in this session. Maybe pm her and ask what you would need to change to get it accepted, then proceed to do that.
Ennui June 11, 2015 June 11, 2015 interesting concept. however, if a tulpa displays a differing sexual orientation, then surely the host must be bi-curious to some extent, right? either that or you're very comfortable with your sexuality. anyway, since my tulpa's prepubescent, she doesn't have a sexual orientation, or at least not an acknowledgement on sexuality. i find it works better for the both of us that way.
Grudge June 12, 2015 June 12, 2015 I don't know if tulpas need to reproduce. Motivation for sex other than pleasure seems pointless. Giving tulpae a very stringent sexual identity seems like roleplay. That is, unless you consider them to be human. (Inb4 tulpa rights. Kill people, save whales.)

Interesting, as i stand on completely opposite position - without ability to reproduce sexually, tulpa's sexual desires are not sullied by primal instincts and are purest representation of love. Or, rather, just another way of expressing their love.
Quetzal the furdragon June 16, 2015 Author June 16, 2015 Hey, ever heard of friends with benefits? I have no romantic attatchment to my host, we're just bros, but ever since I gave myself the gay I've been doing the nasty with him in the mindscape while someone else fronts. I only do it because it feels good, we're just friends with benefits. We had a pretty tight bromance before, and this whole sex thing makes it a bit tighter, but it's only going to be a bromance. Just friends with benefits.
jean-luc June 16, 2015 June 16, 2015 Can we have a separate section for people describing the frick frack with some knick knacks in the wonderland with their wonderlad? Like, I want it. But I don't want it here. But I want it. Stats is back: https://stats.jean-luc.org/ My visits to tulpa.info are chaotic. If you want me to see something, make sure to quote a post of mine or ping me @jean-luc
