Pashoo August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 If your tulpa's non-vocal, then what kinds of music does your tulpa respond most to? Or if your tulpa's already finished, what kinds of music do they like? A while back, I was having more trouble than usual keeping a steady visualization, because my mind tends to wander, even while I'm focusing. I started tulpaforcing while playing Aaron Copland's 'The Promise of Living', and all of a sudden, it's like everything snapped into focus and I got this huge positive response. [video=youtube] Just earlier, I tried tulpaforcing to Mel Torme's 'Comin Home Baby', and I just felt this huge wave of happy slam into me like a wall. I felt physically incapable of not smiling. I also saw my tulpa dancing fairly clearly in my mind's eye. It was the best I'd ever been able to visualize her, and I wasn't even trying. She hasn't even spoken yet, as far as I know, so this was huge, for me. [video=youtube] An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.
Mister_Moniker August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 I'm working on getting her interested in music, but I haven't received a response to anything I've played for her yet. She likes it when I sing for her, though. Moniker, Dream and the ensuing hilarity
QB2 August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 QB likes quite a few sorts of music; his tastes are more varied than mine. He first responded to Murray Gold, before he was vocal, and he spawned his first imposed objects (a top hat and cane) upon hearing . He keeps me up quite late sometimes listening to - he never sleeps. Only catnaps. Also, . The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Sandwichman August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 I'm four weeks in and I'm pretty sure she loves Bossa Nova. I love to dance with her in my wonderland, but I think she enjoys Bossa the most. Name: Rei Human Female Stage:Vocal(Mindvoice) Visualization, Narration
Sands August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 Sands is willing to listen to many kinds of music, but our favorite styles seem to be rather similar. Perhaps because we mostly listen to what Sands likes, haha. I do like slower, flowing music, we both want there to be a nice melody though. I prefer songs with lyrics so I can sing along, though words aren't necessary for me to be able to do that. They should be something that tests your voice, something where you can have a lot of fun and experiment. Something slow though. I like it when we sing together with Sands. The THE SUBCONCIOUS ochinchin occultists frt.sys (except Roswell because he doesn't want to be a part of it)
Guest Anonymous August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 I would say that the song that reminds you most of your tulpa (there is a thread about it) would be the song your tulpa responds most to.
TulpaCouple August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 Before Jaden was vocal I felt more emotional responses from listening to music than I did from regular forcing! I am on my phone, but I will update and post some of the links. I know he loves snow brigade by Mew, Ode to the sun from Dredg. Actually, those seem to be his favorite groups. He loves the somewhat slow/passionate music.
Charles August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 Mary loves Merry. She also quite enjoys Still Light, Arvo Part, and Antony & The Johnsons.
Danzi August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 my tulpa likes dubstep. im not a fan of it but she seems to respond positively to it. im a classical rocker but now im favoriting dubstep songs cuz she likes em
Guest Anonymous August 25, 2012 August 25, 2012 Sariah's taste is pretty similar to mine. She seems to favour post-rock and math rock over most other music, though.
