YOU CAN FIND THE CENSUS HERE

Hello everybody! 2015 is almost over and the last cross-community census that was made by the tulpa community was back at 2013.

With that in mind, me and some folks from reddit made this new survey that will be taking answers for 2 weeks (ending on November 9). This survey gathers data from both tulpamancers and non tulpamancers, even if you don't have a tulpa your input will be a great contribution!

If possible, share this survey with other communities and friends!

Thanks!

I filled it out. A few times I had N/A answers but couldn't take back my selection for example when asked if I told my psychologist, I answered no, then realised I shouldn't have answered at all as I don't have a psychologist. Adding NA fields to allow dumping a selection would be handy.

That was an amazing survey, I'm impressed. If this really came from reddit then I might have to rethink my opinion of what goes on there. I mean I'm sure I only saw the worst of it in my two visits, but both rewarded me with questions/topics that hurt me to read... But that's unrelated. Very nice.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Amazingly, both sanity and insanity can be found in any community, Lumi. People say the exact same kind of thing about this website.

We filled it out, it was a pretty decent survey.

Feel free to ask me anything.

Suffering is self-imposed. Don't let it control you.

Hello, I don't check this place often so there's quite a lot of delay for me to answer, apologies!

Dully noted, I added them! Sorry for the inconvenience! (in the end this will actually be more trouble for me to parse the data in the end, thanks for pointing it out)

This was a thing that was bought up on reddit some time ago. We do have a problem regarding "veterans to newbies ratio", which can be summed up to: most newbies that need help will post asking for help, newbies who don't need help don't post at all. This makes for a front page full of people with misconceptions, troubles and so on, and while most of our active veterans are more than willing to help them, they don't represent a significant amount of people in comparison, since many of the community veterans just moved on or rarely check the sub because its almost always the same: people asking for help, troubled people and maybe 1-2 interesting posts. Not the most appealing kind of content when you already have a bunch of tulpas!

Which does make for a poor first impression anyway. Hopefully we'll start to change this soon :)

No kidding, I've heard people say stuff about both .info and reddit. In the end we just stick to wherever we feel at home, sorta.

Thanks for filling this out everybody :)

Remember the survey has a B side for non tulpamancers too so if you have other friends who aren't tulpamancers but are aware about it, their input is equally valuable!

Filled it. Regardless of where this originates from, all communities have a bad side to them.

I'm there. You don't want to know what types of things happen there. With due respect to /r/tulpas users... that's some bad shit.

I filled it in yesterday, though I would like to note that autism and ADHD aren't mental illnesses, but neurodevelopmental disorders. Do whatever you'd like with that information (or don't do anything at all lol), but I felt like that's important to point out.

Troy: We are planning on filling it out again. The only issue is what to say with the "do you have a tulpa" beginning part. Technically, we classify as soulbonds, but I suppose we share enough similarities to mark it as "yes".

Najere EDIT: That moment where it has to be marked "no libido" or the census will get the impression that one of us has the hots for Fade.

A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.

Hello again, just a quick update! (and a shameless bump!)

We're hitting over 330 responses so far! If you haven't filled in the survey yet please do so at your earliest convenience, since it ends in a few days!

Thanks to everybody who answered! You are awesome!

Incredible survey, keep up the good work.

I had a little difficulty with some of the questions, since my Tulpa development was a little unorthodox, essentially having one before I knew about them, and then developing that Tulpa after I found out about them. I hope that doesn't skew the data.

I caught it just in time, too. When can we expect the results?
