Feeling Lucky/Fortunate/Privileged to Have a Tulpa?

Should this thread be in general discussion and not in Lounge?

Mistgod is afraid to put anything anywhere but Lounge now, but a lot of his topics would fit in GD just fine. Dunno, don't worry so much @Mistgod. If your discussion topic revolves around tulpas and isn't something about tulpas' opinions, it's probably fine. "What kind of clothing do your tulpas wear?" is fine, "Do your tulpas like pink dresses? Mine does." isn't. So don't do that and you're free to leave the Lounge once in a while.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

For me it's a double edged sword. But I'm happy with my end of the deal.

Thank you Raetin and T-Storm,

About the feelings of being crazy, yeah, I was totally wondering before I knew there were others out there like me. For many years I thought I was the only one in the world with anything like Melian. I thought I was just really, really weird, ... which I am but. I always felt lucky anyway and yeah a bit luckier than the average person with having her.

In fact, I had mixed emotions upon discovering tulpamancers. On one hand, it was very exciting and cool beyond belief to know I wasn't alone and could share things. On the other hand, Melian wasn't so unique anymore. Also, I lost her "secret status" when I went public with her back in 2013. It sounds funny, but that secret was something that Melian and I shared and it was kind of special. What we gained in return far outweighed losing that secrecy though. :-)

Thanks everyone.

Tulpas are people. :-) Interesting how bringing someone into your life always changes the dynamics and you have to learn to live with one another. I am not sure if that is what you mean.

Hmmm, Melian and I have had our drama moments if that is what you mean. I suppose it is like any other relationship with positives and negatives. Melian can be emotional like me and is a total drama queen. Then there is the insomnia. But, the good stuff far outweighs the bad and I probably would have had insomnia even without Melian.

Thanks. I am making an effort to keep my topics more upbeat and positive. Melian is taking charge of that effort, just so you know. I am being subordinated in authority when it comes to this forum.

Her view that the facts and circumstances of tulpa sentience isn't what is important, but how you regard and treat your tulpa is, has totally won the day and my illusory make believe tulpa hypothesis has been completely discarded to the waste bin of utter stupidness.

My tulpa has won. She refuses to play along any more and says she is finally fed up with me trying to bring you guys down.

Fade: I don't know about being privileged, but I am really fortunate to have my muses. I talk with them about it sometimes. Their presence has improved my life so much, and they color my world. Really, it's come to the point where I can't imagine what life would be like without them. Infinitely more boring, I guess. <3

A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.

Awww, that is so sweet! They color your world! Very poetic. Oh my gods you guys are so cute!

As far as Davie goes, he is friggin privileged and also honored to have me in his head. At least he had better be.

It's awesome. Each step is amazing- Doing easy, little things when you have no experience in doing them feels so fantastic. For example, cavemen were not as advanced as we are now, so when they invented fire, they went nuts over it. Now, we can just buy a lighter for a dollar or two at the store.
