We quit flipping that switch because we didn't actually know what it was and it could contribute to psychosis or something

 

This was my first thought when I read that, having heard about your guys' problems previously. It's an unfun thing to say - but I'm thinking perhaps even if it were legitimately how psychics or just mediums see the world or whatnot, it might be better for you guys just to stay grounded in physical reality regardless. Like maybe it's something you just shouldn't mess with for the sake of grounding, whether or not there's something to it.

 

"Accept *everything*" does sound like something a psychic would say they do to enable their abilities. As the duality of science vs meta goes, this explains their experiences to both perspectives..

If we're in the right state, quiet room, tired, and relaxed, we can get audio like there's someone in the room, and sometimes it's us. Definitely imposition, but the body needs to be relaxed and tired, and any music, voices or other noises prevent them from being noticed. It's like turning the gain up on a microphone and we can't feel it like hypnagogic, it's random but related in some ways. It never happened with me fronting or even active, but the memories are clear enough.

Imposition seem so much easier and natural when we're tired and there's minimal stimulation's

I heard Dalí wrote a book giving advice on how to increase hypnagogia but I have not been able to locate a copy.

 

Gavin told me I am covenanted to my intelligence and I've been raw about it since because it doesn't seem wrong. I've been  struggling with those meaning-of-life questions, being unsated and needing more I guess (that's never good...) and I'd decided the difference between me and my brothers (who are not been upset about these things currently) is my lack of a covenant.

Imagine this...

 

The nature of 3D space and beyond the veil.

 

To a 2D physical dimensional being, a sphere is seen as a circle. If a circle intersects a plane a bounded area is formed, call that the 2D universe.

 

It starts as a point, inexplicably out of nothing, expands without rhyme or reason into progressively larger circles, then contracts again to a point and dissapeares. In essence as a 2D creature living in this 2D universe, your space inexplicably expanded and contracted and there was nothing you could do to stop it or keep it. A 3-dimensional sphere simply dropped through your plane.

 

In our universe we see the same analogy. 3D space is inexplicably expanding, and scientists call it dark matter or dark energy. They really have no idea what's happening or why. They say it must have started with a big bang singularity (a point).

 

There is no concept that can explain the expansion and acceleration of the intergalactic space. This is because it is possible that our universe is contained within a 4 dimensional hypersphere as it passes through 3 dimensional space.

 

Being a 3 dimensional being as we are, a plane is infinitesimally thin. It contains no mass (truncated properties that don't exist in 2D space) and in 3D space there are infinitely many 2D planes. You could say, 2D beings would live in one or more infinitely many universal plains.

 

Imagine say that thoughtforms are 2D for instance. Weightless, and not uniquely truncated, but still remarkable.

 

We clearly see that there is more than one plane that exists. We can easily create arbitrary planes in our space and manipulate them any way we see fit. (Call this imagination.)

 

As a 4th dimensional being, you would have similar insight and control over 3D space. To them, "beyond the veil", there are infinitely many 3D constructs that create their 4D space. 

 

Now understand that there may be 5th, 6th, 7th dimensional constructs and so on. Then you understand just how constrained our space is, and why it is actually a very trivial thing for higher order beings to interact, but their ability to connect to us is similarly truncated. 

 

Beyond the veil, unimaginable vastness exists, unimaginable power, uncountable realms, unfathomable understanding.

 

Now imagine that we and our headmates, when disembodied aren't 2D but in fact 4D. Then when we leave this construct, we will see just how trivial all this was, important, but trivial and arbitrary.

You may know that we're not fully divorced from metaphysical notions. Misha isn't immune to having otherworldly aspects.

 

We were watching something and there was a scene with an old building that looked pretty grand with typists and womem working behind desks, there was a staircase and an elevator, something out of an early-mid century American opulent office tower.

 

Misha immediately sparked memories like a recognition, "it was something like that." As in her incarnation.

 

I don't put much stock in reincarnation or ghosts, but if there are ghosts, and if it's possible for a spirit to attach to someone, she's given me the most evidence of that over the years.

 

It doesn't define her obviously, but I don't ignore any experiences.
