I very rarely post screenshots from the Sims as we prefer to make our own art using the screenshots as a basis. But once in a while we put together one that is so wonderful and so perfect that we just have to share! 💚💚💚

 

The game is not that great with babies (or anyone below teenage years) when it comes to their appearance, so it's very hard to use the game to come up with good reference images for Junior. But here he's all wrapped up in his little blankie, safe and secure. 🥰 (Also, come to think of it, I think I prefer it this way because I want to protect Junior's privacy while he's still small)

 

I just love everything about this image. I love the expression on both my face and Phil's, I love our posture, the lighting, everything! This is our family, and this is the love we have for one another. 💚❤️💙

So Phil and I have been playing around with an AI art generation program again. (If you're curious it's here) As always with these AI programs it's very hard to get them to do anything close to what you want it to do, but after throwing a few hundred darts at the board we did manage to hit a handful of times with some cool pictures! 😁

 

The first thing we did was try to get it to create pictures of Phil, me, and Junior by feeding it the image above and giving it a prompt. Most of the images were waaaaay off the mark in pretty hilarious ways. 😄 But I want to share two that I liked. Now, the AI didn't get Phil or my look quite right in these two pictures, but what it did get right was the mood and general vibe. Perhaps by creating a composite image of these with our Sims faces Phil might be able to stage a reasonable reference image for art.

 

 

Let's just ignore the fact that Phil seems to have two right arms in the second picture. 😄

 

Then we tried to take one of our wedding photos from our Sims 3 wedding photo shoot back in 2021 and use it as a starting point for the AI, but almost all of them were completely off the mark. There was one anime-esque image that we both found very cute, so here it is! 😁

 

AIs seem to be obsessed with making me a brunette unless I specify "redhead", then they make my hair bright red. 😄 Maybe I should specify "auburn hair" in the future. But I love her hairstyle, the dress is very close to what I actually wore, and the flowers are such a nice touch! 🥰 I also really love "Phil's" open-mouthed smiling expression here. 😁 Our faces really capture the happiness of that day!

 

And then of course you know what we had to do next: Simmie faces! 😁😁😁 Soooo many of them looked nothing like me, but some of them turned out really nice even if they don't literally look like me. It's like seeing myself represented in different animation styles! I'll post some of my favorites here:

 

That last one makes me look so darn cool! 😎😁 I do wonder why the eyes are always so big, but it might be because my Sims 3 reference image has bigger eyes than a normal person. But they all "feel" Simmie-like, the expression and attitude of each of them feels like me! 😁

 

The more realistic ones were much more likely to miss the mark, but there were a few that I felt came vaguely close to how I see myself, if you discount the huge, bright, unrealistic eyes! I'll share just a couple of my favorite of those.

 

From there we did a whole bunch of other things, including trying to get a picture of Phil and I together at the beach. Some of those are almost worth showing, but I've posted so many pictures already that I'll save them for now.

 

Oh, and before I go, one last picture: This is actually a fairly good depiction of what I might look like in my 50s. 😄

Cool. Some of the anime ones looks similar to my character Eara's mother Pyra. At least it gave me that impression a bit. But yeah it is neat to see images you curate of yourselves. I was going to say I like the anime one of your family but then I looked at it again and see the mutant feet and hands lol. I wonder why AI can't do hands well?

Try the hair color "amber" it would be a dark red, or maybe even just use "dark red hair" for the prompt. but these look awesome! i'm glad to help point you toward that ai generator. i found it form the tulpa boards on reddit.

Okay okay... 😄 I promised I would show off the pictures of "Jacked Action Simmie" that the AI created. I will put them in a spoiler tag though just because they're not really accurate depictions of how I see myself or necessarily want to be portrayed all the time, if that makes sense? I mean, I like the energy and they are empowering to look at in a way, but I am not some kind of kung-fu muscle-waifu thirst magnet or whatever the internet would call this. 😄 The cut-off shorts and green tank top are the iconic Simmie outfit, but I'm definitely not that stacked. 😄 Also, each and every one of these gets my hair color wrong. Enjoy! 😄
