I tend to ask people if they know what a tulpa is. If they don't, I ask them if they wanna know, and it kinda develops from there.

Other than that, I just tell those of my friends that I think might be interested.

Nobody IRL, but might consider it when I do have a tulpa, depending on the circumstances.

I did tell an online friend about it, he's a bit curious if it will works.

I started to tell people about it as soon as people spammed hsg with it and I saw thw wikipedia page. I knew nothing about it then, but I was ranting about it for a week or so. After that, I stopped, because it became rediculous, with these people I told only going off what I had said while criminally uninformed. I even said how they can be physically manifested. Such a silly time. Anyway, after committing myself to this, I stopped talking about it actively. It is now just something others bring up, and even then most of the time I try to sheperd the conversation away from tulpas, unless the conversation's productive/useful. I don't think they take it seriously.

[Note: Opinions]

These days, I think that I'd tell somebody if they for some reason asked, because if they knew enough to ask exactly what a tulpa was I'd go ahead and tell them.

I told my sister, and while she understands it she really doesn't care. Grandmother thinks it's neat, mother thinks it's weird but trusts me on it. Cousin doesn't care either. Honestly suprised by the lack of care but I don't care much to begin with.

But other than that, not only do I see no reason at all to tell the average joe, I'm a NEET so I don't even have anyone to tell. Though if I saw someone who could benefit from one out of crushing loneliness I might try to help them out. Not all the time though.

Hinted at knowing what it was. Very vaguely. Only twice.

But my mom went through my stuff looking for something and went through my tulpa guide and saw the pictures of Vinyl. Thank goodness for having an artsy friend.

I have one friend who's smart enough to grasp the concept properly and simultaneously not be a douche about it. I told him about my tulpae, and I also told 2 other people about the concept of tulpa. One didn't really give a fuck either way, the other kinda sorta understands it.

My progress report

Not yet, but I do have a very close friend who doesn't tell anyone about what I do, or judge me for it. I might tell him.

Haven't told anyone, but my brother (he's in sixth grade) saw what I was reading and now knows what tulpae are and that I'm making one, but he doesn't seem to care. All he does is tease me about this occasionally (such as making feeble attempts to "ruin my visualization" when I tulpaforce.)
