Avalanche June 2, 2012 Author June 2, 2012 Added internal organs. That includes a brain, lungs, stomach, intestines, liver, bladder and kidneys. This was mainly an exercise for visualisation, but it has resulted in making her definitely feel more organic, and less or a frame or statue. When I put the brain in (by placing my hands on her head and imagining a brain inside) there was an immediate effect of her going limp and almost growing a soul. Sounds very weird but if you think of your tulpa when it was in development, you never really felt much from them, like they were never thinking anything, until later on. I felt like that until just now when the brain went in. She as I said has gone limp and won't just stand up with an empty framework puppet anymore. The other organs went in the same way with little effect, but they do make her seem more fleshed out and less of an empty shell. Would recommend doing this to people who are in the visualisation stage and still don't feel anything from their tulpa. This is a little over 4 hours into visualisation, or about 18 hours into tulpaforcing altogether. Going to put the heart in now which should fire everything up. It's not a regular heart but a cube that I filled with the personality traits ages back, but never used. Seems fitting. Or should I say "seemed fitting". I couldn't get it to go in, kept getting flung across the room. Regular heart it is. Not even a regular heart would stay. Only MY HEART would stay. At least I grew another one back. I just got a mental block with the others, I felt a really weird resistance. Only my heart went in without too much of a struggle. frt
tulpatalk June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 It sounds (from other posts on the forums) that you are concerned about fitting visualization into some pre-defined span of time. Shouldn't you think of it as not an assignment to complete on time, but something you work on until it is done? [Note: Opinions]
Avalanche June 4, 2012 Author June 4, 2012 I originally thought I was going to spend about 16 or so hours on visualisation, but I have since adopted the motto of "It's done when it's done". As for personality, that's never going to be done, not until she starts deciding for herself. New concept art- http://imgur.com/mReoo Opinions, thoughts and criticisms are welcome! frt
Guest Anonymous June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Something I'm doing is imagining bones so that I can get the right feel.
tulpatalk June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 Hair looks like knives. Dem floatin eyebrows. I like the longer style. I don't understand at all how the bangs or those things near her neck work. She looks chubbier. [Note: Opinions]
Avalanche June 4, 2012 Author June 4, 2012 Hair just has little highlights at the ends. I could shade them in and just have them as strands, but I thought it looked nice. Eyebrows are supposed to be above the hair. The eyebrows last time shouldn't have been above the HAT though lol. I think the style length is nicer too, but it isn't that longer. I don't know what to do for the back though. She is.. more youthful in this version. The other pictures were pretty much copy paste from box standard face outlines, just to do quickly. This one I think matches up in my head better. Again, it's all style. frt
Guest Albatross_ June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 It's your tulpa, Avalanche. Regardless of our opinions she'll end up looking how she wants (which really is what you want). But I liked the old drawings better.
Avalanche June 4, 2012 Author June 4, 2012 I'm just doing this to visualise better. It's better than not being able to visualise anything. Plus it's not a bad thing to start her off with something I like, so she can build on it or change it how she pleases. Also your opinion is wrong Alba. frt
tulpatalk June 4, 2012 June 4, 2012 I don't think it's a good idea to draw her stylized like that, with the hair in knife-like clumps. also you still haent explained what the knives near her neck were and why she has three knives as bangs. [Note: Opinions]
Avalanche June 4, 2012 Author June 4, 2012 They aren't knives! They are just bangs with a long narrow loop highlight at the ends! It's a style. Not knives. The bangs near her neck at just that.. bangs. They are just brushed forward from behind or something. It's a hair style in a different style. It's not supposed to be realistic. How it adapts to Flora in my head, well I can't really explain that. You see people with pony tulpae, they don't come out like a real live pony. frt
