glitchthe3rd June 5, 2012 June 5, 2012 Forcing to music is helpful, I find. Especially if it's something that enhances your normal brain function (like classical music or certain subgenres of techno). Avalanche June 5, 2012 Author June 5, 2012 Well I have some piano music and some other stuff. I'll try them all and see what works. Maybe it's not just the instrument or tones either, could be how you feel when you play the song too. I'll link back to here with some if they seem to have a decent effect. frt
Flower June 5, 2012 June 5, 2012 I actually noticed today that I could force while walking and listening to music, which shouldn't really surprise me cause I have always been one who walks in order to stimulate myself. However, lost the track of the road once and went straight down into a ditch, which did result in some awkward stares when people passed by. I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.
Avalanche June 5, 2012 Author June 5, 2012 I can't tulpaforce and walk. I can't tulpaforce and do anything. I need quiet, a nice chair and I'm good. Otherwise there are too many distractions and I can't settle and concentrate. Even if I could I would have to have her moving along with me, so that would render the wonderland useless and I would have to puppet her along the road as I went. That and I have nowhere to walk to anyway. Should I stick with the wonderland or try just imagining her in the room with me with my eyes shut? frt
glitchthe3rd June 5, 2012 June 5, 2012 I'm getting the hang of forcing in public places again, I went to the park with some friends and just sat on the beach and forced. Got sunburnt, but still got some work done. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
Flower June 5, 2012 June 5, 2012 Well, what I learned by my experience is that doing something that has caused you to relax or/and get increased focus when it comes to meditation ,daydreaming, imagining before will probably work aswell around this matter. And everyone has different preferences so I can't tell what works for you, but maybe you can think of something. I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.
Avalanche June 5, 2012 Author June 5, 2012 I think after about 30 hours or so I will try to force outside of my room, where my comfy comfy chair is. Should I start to move out of the wonderland too? frt
Flower June 5, 2012 June 5, 2012 I can't answer that question, it's all about how you feel. Try to just listen to yourself and test new options, trying doesn't hurt, as long as you go back to your old ways (if they worked) if you can't seem to get any improvement. Remember. There is no race against time, you need to feel secure, calm and try things in your own pace. Try to feel an urge towards exploring things, you have all the time in the world and your Tulpa will accept that and still be there for you when you reach the end. I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.
Avalanche June 5, 2012 Author June 5, 2012 Ok. Right, well obviously at some point I need to be able to walk around and visualise my tulpa in my surroundings, imposing her and all that. So keeping her in the wonderland for now is alright to incubate her and help her develop the fastest. Then once she is sentient enough we can move out into the real world. Maybe listening to music will help the personality process along, with feels and stuff. The visualisation process is going well enough, she is becoming more solid and less of an idea that is changing easily all the time. Face is coming along nicely too. I'm only 8 hours into visualisation, I wonder what the average is. frt
Flower June 5, 2012 June 5, 2012 Sounds good, just don't try to compare with "average" times spent on things, and as far as I know (both from personal experience and reading others) music works a lot better if it doesn't include text to focus on. But as I told before, it's all about preferences. I must have ended up on the wrong planet. Everything here is so strange.
