Onicron November 27, 2012 November 27, 2012 I noticed that when I managed to change the spinning direction, the feeling was nearly identical to when we switch. Switching while looking at the gif also changes it's direction. motorheadlk November 28, 2012 Author November 28, 2012 Staring directly at the head helped change the direction for us. Cool expirement :D Thanks, have to figure if it's useful or just something interesting. I was having a hard time trying to change the direction, and when I asked Mei to change it, it worked in seconds. Awesome. Even I kept trying, and when changed again I hear her saying "That was me [laughs]". Nice experiment! Heh. Anything we are able to do with our minds they can do better. I noticed that when I managed to change the spinning direction, the feeling was nearly identical to when we switch. Switching while looking at the gif also changes it's direction. Interesting, it's probably because of the switching in right hemisphere dominance to left hemisphere dominance that is what supposedly triggers the spinning to change direction, it would mean that when you switch with your tulpa, she would use a different brain hemisphere as dominant, rather than using the same as yours. I'm brazilian and my english is not really good, I'll do every mistake you imagine, but I'll try to avoid them. Tulpa: Kuruminha Age: Began on the middle of october. Form: My avatar. Lula November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 Wow, that was an eye opener! I spent 5 minutes trying to get the damn thing to spin the other way on my own. When I asked Frostia it changed direction as soon as I'd finished asking. As for all experiments I repeated it (like 20 times) and each time she did it just after I was finished talking. ~Remember the dead, but fight for the living. ~La rage du peuple ~Ice cream is a feeling Tulpae: Name: Frostia Form: Light and dark blue pony, white hair, styled in MLP:FiM fashion
Avalanche November 29, 2012 November 29, 2012 This is crazy. I've seen this gif before but it was super hard to change. But when I tell my tuppers to take turns changing the direction it changes every 3 seconds or so. Also getting a slight headache from this... well now. frt
Natasha November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 Some help cheats for the people that are having trouble: There are certain point in the gif that helps your brain change the direction if you look at them (ex: looking at the shadow of the foot allows a lot of people to change it to CCW De bedste og smukkeste ting i verden kan hverken ses eller røres, de må opleves med hjertet.
The Process November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 CW for me, but if I look from my peripheral vision it goes CCW (to be fair, it also looks like a hockey stick from the peripheral). I asked my tulpa if she could change its direction. She said I believe so strongly that it is actually moving CW that she can't do anything. I honestly can't imagine it not moving CW. I'll check it again in a day or two. http://iamthewhy.tumblr.com/
Avalanche November 30, 2012 November 30, 2012 I can look at it right in the middle and it still changes, so it's not like you have to look away from it to get it to move. But that does help. frt
Couguhl December 2, 2012 December 2, 2012 Damn. I had a bit of trouble changing it back and forth myself, but when I asked my tulpa to switch it back and forth quickly, it worked. She's laughing right now. Tulpa: Sierra Forcing since July 2012 Couguhl’s Progress Report
bearycool December 3, 2012 December 3, 2012 I was having a hard time trying to change the direction, and when I asked Mei to change it, it worked in seconds. Awesome. Even I kept trying, and when changed again I hear her saying "That was me [laughs]". Nice experiment! That's what I did, but I did something a little bit different. I visualized the image in my peripheral vision to look sort of like Stan-- my tulpa-- and I told Stan if he could move her. A few seconds I turned to the image to see that it was moving the other direction. Conclusion: tulpae are the best. Stan (my tulpa): "sometimes, I do lewd things when my host bends over :3"
