Flexionsensor July 8, 2013 Author July 8, 2013 ANYWAY Yesterday... I merped a lot. Today I did as well, but yesterday was far more. In fact, I may or may not have set a record, I wasn't timing it. So yeah, I'm doing my usual conversational thing, and I figure that repetition is pretty good, so I've been doing that kickstart thing a lot. Oh, but there's a problem. In my wonderland, I've been wondering if I need to be in first person view, since I really can't maintain that for a long time. My mind just doesn't work like that. If I'm going to have a form for myself, I will attempt to maintain it and end up visualizing it in whole while merping, so, in essence, should I try to keep first person perspective, or is a general third person perspective applicable as well? Flexionsensor July 9, 2013 Author July 9, 2013 ANYWAY Ah, merping, my own, personal haven in my shattered mind. The mental equivalent of 'waiting for the bus.' Except with a bit more involvement than sitting down. Yes, today I merped, less than yesterday, but a ripe amount anyway. I think I need to sit down for more active merping during this vocalization stage, that I may spend more time developing Kat's voice and, when the time comes, teaching her how to use it. I've been thinking. This 'mancing that we do, really opens up a new frontier in philosophy, in the aspects of 'what does it mean to be human?' 'Why do we create?' and 'What makes us, us?' It's intriguing to think about. But then again, philosophy hasn't ever come to a conclusion and has really never helped a large majority of people in any way as a result. That statement opens up another branch of philosophy pertaining to what the point of philosophy is. That is why I don't like philosophy. It only opens up more questions. Also, I went further off track right there than you can by clicking random links on Wikipedia. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
Flexionsensor July 10, 2013 Author July 10, 2013 ANYWAY I've basically nothing to report today. I merped, I worked on vocals a bit, but I'm not entirely sure I should do it that much, (to give Kat a chance to respond,) so I didn't overdo it. That's it for the most part... I'm not going to let this be a small post! Tantalizing subject 1; I have a thing for staying up later than I should. I'm wondering if I can harness this time for merping even more than I traditionally do each night... If I can do more merping, then nothing can go wrong. I just need to figure out how. Maybe if I place some merp prompts in my room at strategic locations, I can spice up my merping. Tantalizing subject 2; I watch a lot of media online, so I'm thinking of subsequently merping to those as well. More than I do in the first place, anyway. I've seen commentary videos on many things, so I'm thinking something like that... I do it out loud to my family every time we watch movies, so it shouldn't be that hard. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
Flexionsensor July 11, 2013 Author July 11, 2013 ANYWAY Apparently, I had a case of temporary amnesia today. Let's make a list of the things I forgot today! 1. To put subtle 'merp or I kill you' signs around my room. 2. To do vocal practice. 3. To merp to any online media. 4. To merp in general, really. The last one baffles me, since I was on a great groove for a few days there. I mean a great groove. Best one I've seen. This can only call for one thing! OVERCOMPENSATION DAY TOMORROW! Merp ALL the time! "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
Flexionsensor July 12, 2013 Author July 12, 2013 ANYWAY ...Or not... Something came up today that forced me to gather my attention to other things rather than vocalization, so, despite my massive merp day today, I skimped on voicing. I feel inadequate when I skimp. But I like saying 'skimp.' It's one of those words that you can't help but say over and over. I like those words. But, as I am wont to do, I have gotten off topic. However, Tantalizing Subject 1 from two days ago, has basically been accomplished for today. I hope I can broaden my technique to encompass more than I already do. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
Flexionsensor July 13, 2013 Author July 13, 2013 ANYWAY Allo again! Today, I visited my grandparents! Mother of God, we were there until 4. I despise my family, and since this was entirely unpredictable (my parents always say stuff like 'we told you this ten times, how do you not remember?' I don't get them.) I had little time to merp vocals. I changed a few things. The 'high pitched me,' voice is going through some re-thinking. It's been rather hard to picture female voices all my life, despite my earliest friends being girls, and having a large female presence in my life. SO, I've been trying to generalize a typical voice (and merping about it, for testing purposes, as well as attaining the benefits of typical merping as well. Win win.) so that I can easily picture it and assign it. It should go well, unfortunately, it requires active-merp, and tomorrow, I won't have any time for it. My life is radically over-scheduled. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
Flexionsensor July 14, 2013 Author July 14, 2013 ANYWAY I did approximately 3 seconds of voicing. Vocality. Vocalizificilixication. Whatever. However, I've been looking around for voices to imitate/combine and imitate. Unfortunately... Google searching 'female voices' doesn't give you examples. I'm gonna have to dig. The reason I'm doing this, is because of my aforementioned issue picturing female voices. I always end up getting it wrong; making it too high, too stereo-typically girly (it hurts the image I'm setting), making it a man's voice. That sorta thing. Why on earth is my computer so shitty? I click the right mouse button ONCE, and for some reason, the little tab thingy is STILL there, even though I clicked it off! So yeah, I merped, I panicked over the circumstances which would occur at the end of the universe (looong story), overall an uneventful day. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
Flexionsensor July 15, 2013 Author July 15, 2013 ANYWAY Ever heard of the BSA National Jamboree? It's a large camporee consisting of basically anyone who wants to go from any troop in America. And for the next 10 days, I shall be there. Having fun and merping all the while. The thing about camping is that due to my rampant insomnia, I'll have lots more time to merp and vocalize at night then I do right now. And because of my hatred of everyone and everything, I can merp during the day as I do normally. Win-win, right? WRONG. My family's spent nearly 3000 bucks on this trip. That's why it's a 'once in a lifetime' gig. Which is nice, because I'll probably have gotten very sick of it soon. I'm probably going to skimp out on merping tonight due to the fact that I have to get going at 3:00 AM in order to arrive on time. So yeah, I'm not going to be here for 10 days. Heads up, just so you know. "DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!" Shameless self promotion!
