ANYWAY

Funny thing happened yesterday. I was in a suspension-less vehicle crossing a section of mountains while heading home from a 7 hour drive, and as individuals stuck in a shitty car while crossing back roads on a mountain are wont to do, I had motion sickness.

And so, I, in an act of desperate agony, I called out in my mind for relief, to my brain, to God, to Kat, and... Wait...

Poof.

Literally the second I asked for relief to my previously thought nonexistent tulpa, the pain fled from my head, I could breathe without the need to puke, my salivary glands stopped producing more saliva than necessary, etc.

This is possibly the first sign I've received of sentience. POSSIBLY.

This evidence is NOT 100% accurate. It is not infallible and is still quite flimsy.

I will be waiting for 4 more counts of evidence to appear before I can truly say I have achieved sentience.

Until then though, I am declaring this Progress Report as entering:

CHAPTER 2: The Scrounging Quest for More Evidence to Support My Lack of Sanity

"DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!"

Shameless self promotion!

Unlike Xeare I'm very suprised! But I agree with him.

You're willpower is insane though!

ANYWAY

So I've not had any 'signs' today, but that's probably because I didn't ask for anything or deviate from regular merping...

There'll probably be some development over this week, since my dad decided, after watching the movie 'RV,' that it would be the BEST thing EVER to attempt to do the same type of trip Robin Williams decided was a good idea. So I'll attempt to get to internet over the week, but I'm probably not going to get any...

On a lighter note, my merp-type is actually altering itself to be more conversational. It's really odd, but not at the same time.

Explanation: I have had 1 5th of the proper evidence required to prove the existence of the thing I've worked harder on than anything else, so I'm more likely to treat it (her) as entirely sentient at this point. However, the oddity of it is that I've only had 1 5th of the proper evidence required to prove the existence of the thing I've been working on for around about 9 months.

Random thought, 9 months is coincidentally the development time for infants... Weird brain coincidence...

I'm ba-ack!

It turns out that road trips can be quicker on the return than anticipated. We wanted to spend the night in several more places than we actually stopped at... Oddment...

I seem to also be merping more often on average, and also with a certainly larger volume per subject brought up.

I don't mean this as a "oh look, I'm merping a lot. I'm a big boy now!" type of thing, I mean this as a "ho-oly shit, guys, I'm packing a MAN'S load of merp here! Suck it, bitches!" sort of improvement.

To give you a figure of size, compare the Earth to the Sun by mass (not size. That'd be a gross exaggeration...) and picture monday-today as the latter. The rest are variations of the former with slight differences.

Also, I started using big words more often. Unrelated in entirety to the subject of merp, but I figure that my PR should include not only my descent into insanity, but my descent into prick-who-uses-far-too-many-syllables-for-reasonable-conversation-ity.

More news into Flex's awesomeness; I can watch horror movies and maintain casual merping whilst not giving a crap about jump scares and the fact that that guy is standing in a corner while the annoying girl screams her head off. I guess that I fear nothing except the postal service...

Did I ever tell you that pride is my weakness? Yesterday... All of my troubles seemed so far away, and now... Now they've reciprocated my hubris by resounding the gong of me being forced to watch a fucking CANADIAN movie, about a CANADIAN Justin Bieber lookalike, with a ripped off CANADIAN Old Yeller, lost in CANADA!

So what I mean to say is, today, I found a box of pure merp-age, and utilized it.

I suppose you could say that 'I merped today, it was fun,' without the last three words. Canadians can't make movies, guys, I checked. It hurt me in many more ways than I can count.

Also, I need to be more careful about my merp topics and tone, since I figure that I am arguably closer to sentience, if not already THERE, I suppose the likelihood of my wanton rage rubbing off on my mind-fetus/infant is rather large.

Question, after sentience is confirmed, is personality a necessity? Should I even do it NOW?

"DUDE! That's wrong! You don't do that! That's like giving a kid a knife and telling him that it's a neck massager!"

Shameless self promotion!

Justin Bieber is Canadian though. No, if you're sure that your tulpa is sentient, you don't need to do personality. Well, you don't need to do it ever, really, but now it won't help you much, if at all.
