I, personally, was clueless. I'll might not be good to post today (as a heads up,) but while right now I must go, it's freaking snowing.

I gotta say, I never realized I never talked to you guys like this. Maybe I'll comment on this part instead, because it's from my perspective here.

By the time Aigis finished modifying the generator, it was dark. He stepped outside and glanced back at the water mill generator.

 

The new invention he had made will draw the energy produced from the generator to create a bubble force field. The field will electrocute and vaporize any organic matter on contact and the magnetic waves emitted from the field will disrupt wide range of magic making it a perfect barrier. No one can get in or out even through teleportation. The only thing left is to test it out.

 

The engineer tapped his headphones twice with his index finger. Text appeared on the hud asking for confirmation.

 

"Confirm, activate the field."

 

Aigis expected the town to black out for a few seconds. But his latest invention yet exceeded his expectation. A yellow bubble engulfed the water mill hut and remained static once it's size is satisfactory. The town's electricity didn't wavered. This baby must be real efficient.

 

The guards who were kicked out of the hut recently stood in awe. The engineer had surprised them yet again.

 

"Not a single bitch will be able to touch it now."

 

Aigis smiled in satisfaction. He won't be needed in this town any longer.

 

The engineer strolled towards the eastern part of the town. It'd be nice to see Vixen and give her a farewell punch in the face before leaving the town. Thoughts flow in his head as he took each steps. Did he made the right decision?

 

RRROOOOOOOOOAAAARRRR

 

A loud noise pierced the sky. All the townspeople who were returning to their house suddenly looked into the same direction in terror. Had the town been attacked again? Aigis's headphones instantly identified the source of the roar as a dragon. But there is not a single dragon in sight. More worryingly, the source came from the house he had spent the night last night. Vixen's house.

 

The engineer instantly broke into a sprint. Despite the fact that he was not in his top form due to the continuous night he spent at the tavern. He is still considerably strong and fit. Many townspeople flee from the roar of the beast. Many guards rushes to the scene. Some curious civilians also started to approaches the house.

 

Shoving people out of his way, Aigis reached Vixen's house. He noticed two things.

 

One. Everyone's eye fixed at the window of the house. No, they were looking through the window. They were looking at something, someone, and they were horrified.

 

Two. The figure in the window resembled his dear friend Vixen. But she was not human. She have wings, tails, a bloodied claws and body covered in scales. Did the real Vixen died last night and a monster had disguised itself as her? No, not possible.

 

The engineer jumped in through the window and found himself in the kitchen. There are many corpse lying on the floor. The one right in front of the beast that may or may not be Vixen seemed to be the most gruesome. Two gaping hole on his torso. His heart is crushed. He also noticed a woman in black in the room, but she is worth little of his attention at the immediate moment. Aigis called out to his partner in crime.

 

"Vixen?"

"Well? You want some of what they got? Come on!"

 

In front of her stood the huntress that had humiliated her. Or rather, her weak self. Why did she threaten her? All she needed to do was blow, and the black figure would have died a fiery death. There's a fine line of recklessness and bravely.

 

Vixen licked her claws with her long scaly tongue. The blood tasted sweet. She saw the corpse in front of her. Two gaping hole on the body. She had done it again.

 

Vixen looked outside the window. The townspeople is looking at her, terrified. Her expression saddens as her gaze came back at the huntress in front of her, also terrified. She had sacrificed so much for this town, and now she won't be able to stay any longer. Everyone would be scared of her now.

 

"Vixen?"

 

A familiar person called her name. She recognized him, the man is her friend, Aigis. Her most trusted ally have seen her true self now. She have lost everything.

 

"Farewell"

 

Vixen's voice is warped. Her voice would easily intimidates even the most experienced of the veteran, but it is filled with sorrow. Her bright yellow eyes with a slit iris is unfocused. A trace of liquid can be seen below her eyes.

 

Vixen jumped through the ceiling of the house. She break through the woods cleanly and break into a flight.

"Wait!"

 

Aigis saw his friend in the beast's eyes. He remembered his beloved Vixen's eyes when she was in despair. It was the same. Not being able to fly, the engineer could only watch the half dragon fly towards the east of the Albion town.

 

Aigis noticed that the women in black is still in the room. Seeing how she is the last person standing, the engineer asked her right away.

 

"What the fuck happened?!?"

Vi: I hope I'm not too scary. I really like the art by phoenix passion though. They looked both beautiful and stylish. Though I'd definitely preferred more coverage. Nice to meet you guys too.

She wanted the thing to make some sort of move. Reaction was the best play here. Being aggressive would only get Miah torn in half. Wait. Use your opponent's attacks against them. The hybrid that was, or really is, Vixen just smiled. Miah wasn't sure what had come over her, but she wanted it to happen. It was either life or death now, no in between. What was she waiting for?

 

Come on!

 

Then, shattered glass. Another assailant? Which should Miah face, the Devil in front or the Knife behind? Both.

 

She dove to her right and rolled. She came to her feet in a low stance, facing both Vixen and the man from earlier today. What in the Hell was he doing here? Didn't he know better? He should have stayed outside with the other riff-raff. Evaluating that the man held no real threat, Miah turned back towards Vixen.

 

She was gone. The roof imploded.

 

Well, shit...

 

The Huntress threw herself away from the pile of rubble that fell to the floor. Miah pocked her self up and watched as the hybrid flew off towards the east. Broken shards of wood still fell from the hole and the whole house creaked. Miah grabbed her shoulder. It was searing with pain. She chided herself for giving the man before an opening. It was dumb, but she would be damned if she would let it stop her.

 

The man from before spoke, in shock. "What the fuck happened?!?"

 

Miah grumbled as she walked over to the table where her cloak still sat. She took the cloth and threw it around herself. As she tied the cloak she shot the man a look.

 

"Really? You just saw what happened! You're friend grew a damn tail, almost ripped a man in half, and broke through the ceiling headed to Hell knows where. Now, I'm going after her. If you want some answers, follow me.

 

Oh, and do try to keep up."

 

With that, she kicked open the door, startling the crowd outside, and rushed off towards the east, presumably going after Vixen.

Pulling her hood over her head, Miah tore through the crowd that had gathered around the house to watch the disturbance. Once free of the sea of people, she sprinted down the road leading towards the gate, her cloak billowing. She flowed past obstacles like the river flows past a stone. Vaulting over a cart, sliding beneath a guardsman's horse, and flying past any of the officers who tried to stop her, she made her way to the gate.

 

As she approached, she noticed some of the men from last night were keeping the gate. Miah grinned. Her cloak did little to hide her curves as she sped down the road. As she passed the gate she leap frogged over one of the men and turned so she faced them, running backwards.

 

She blew them a kiss and then pressed her breasts together as she shouted, "I hope you liked the show last night, boys! Blink a few times so you remember these!" She let the men drool a moment and then turned, heading off towards the eastern woods at full speed. Later, some of the guards would be given leave on account of blood loss. They would blame the nose bleeds on the dry weather.

 

When she began to get into the thick of the woods she spied a long fallen tree that was still propped up by its neighbors. Making use of the trunk as a ramp, she flung herself into the branches and began to fly through the woods as if the trees were her own personal highway. In the distance, breaking through the forest's canopy, she spied what could only be Vixen, still heading east. Miah had her now. She wouldn't get away. They would follow her until she either changed back or stopped. Then a thought occurred to her as she leaped between two particularly far branches. Was there still a 'they'?

 

She shouted behind her, "Hey, Dragon Lady's Friend! Are you still there?"

"Your just jealous."

Although Cruse was fine either way. The pegasus named Joal seems to know where she wanted to go already. And since the sooner they left, the better, he decided to agree with her.

 

"If we stay here any longer, I have no guarantees that we'll be safe. There are others who can teleport like me you know?"

 

"Yeah! Let's gooo!!!"

 

Chloe followed up. Unlike her brother, she didn't care about having to leave. She only looked forward to the adventures.

The women in black clothing went to grab her cloak. Instead of answering his answer, she said;

 

"Really? You just saw what happened! You're friend grew a damn tail, almost ripped a man in half, and broke through the ceiling headed to Hell knows where. Now, I'm going after her. If you want some answers, follow me.

The women then bursted out through the front doors and ran through the crowds outside. The sea of people barely managed to slow her down. The same could not be said for Aigis. He is muscular. And his frame is wide. Making his way through the chaos of countless bystander is not simple for him. However, an engineer always figures out how to make things simple.

 

Aigis pulled out his revolver. Cock the hammer. Point it skyward. And pulled the trigger. And the crowd scrambled away from him. Having a clear path towards the east. He can see the women performing acrobatic feats over the obstacles and guards. Aigis broke into a sprint. As long as it's a straight line, he can run really fast.

 

Aigis sped through the street. He reached the gate and saw the women pulled off a fan service. Up until now, he'd had just noticed that the women is equipped with a pair of large ammunition bag. The guard only drooled. Fucking virgins.

 

Aigis, jump kick, str [10] rolled 3.

 

The gate, for some reason, was not closed. Aigis didn't care why. He just jump kicked one of the guard who is bleeding through his nose for his incompetency and lack of responsibility. The guard sprawled across the street as Aigis continues pursuing Miah into the wood.

 

The sun had set. Aigis would have seen nothing if not for his headphones. The hud on his headphones gave him a pretty decent night vision and it also gives him various info of the woods such as the location of a hidden poisonous snakes. The engineer simply step on one of the snake as he ran after the blurring trail of the women. He noticed a fallen tree. Vixen must came through here.

 

Wait a second.

 

Where did that women go? Aigis's headphones have lost track of her. Well, shit.

 

"Hey, Dragon Lady's Friend! Are you still there?"

 

The HUD immediately identified the source coming from his left. He saw the women on one of the tree. Damn, she is agile.

 

"Almost lost ya!"

 

Aigis yelled back.

 

"You have any idea where she went?"

 

The engineer ran towards the tree the women is on as he asked her.
