ITT: We draw our tulpas

[Xenon]

So I finally got good at drawing faces, drawing realistic bodies, and drawing unique features. Then, yesterday, both to practice my skills and visualize my newest tulpa, I decided to draw her. Meet Shalkagi!

 

Shalkagi is a Klingon female. Her sole inspiration was only the general form of the Klingons from Star Trek. Her looks and name were purely developed by her and me. The picture here was a bit of an experiment. For me, tulpas develop best when I have a face and body to picture in my head. As it helps to look at someone when you speak to them. I had a lot of fun with this. I impressed myself with the hair and forehead texture. The only missing detail with the hair is the streak of neon purple (in the light spot on her left side). I also like how I got the hands, body shape, and muscles to come out. And, her weapon is a traditional Klingon bat'leth. 

As she speaks tlhIngan Hol, in this picture she says: "My name is Shalkagi. I am a Klingon!"

I enjoyed creating this picture, and I especially enjoy developing Shalkagi! I hope to draw some more stuff like this and I will share!

I hope I got the Klingon spelling of her name right. But she insisted "Sal'qagI" was correct. And I'm not gonna argue with a Klingon about tlhIngan Hol.

Quick and dirty freehand. She ended up a little chibi as I didn't feel as confident with the rest of her body as her head. Wanted a little bouncy jump pose. If I end up doing a lot of these I might start an art blog.

This is Shalkagi again, in a mood. She seems to give this look rather regularly. However, she told me this image looks too cartoon-like. I am determined to get her war face right one of these days...

Here is the picture of Clu that I promised y'all. The fashion was basically an experiment, but we are pretty pleased with how it turned out. And the outfit just seems to have the right amount of detail reminiscent of the TRON movies. Meet my tulpa who is a beautiful genderfluid drag queen!
