Well, I was referring to your incessant "creation" and "destruction" of your hallucinations. You talk about it as though it's a plague, but at the same time, it just keeps happening. I wonder why~

Oh that, My mind loves making them... Same as my mind loves me being a new form every day in wonderland. I also had a desire to see how tulpas are different from each other. One was negative, one was young, one was male, one was the opposite of the negative one, one was the opposite of the negative one successfully, and the ones past last year was me not knowing what I was really doing/trying to prove things to myself.

It may also partially be due to ADHD, I'm so focused and interested in tulps. Its hard for me to do anything else. I have a hard time ignoring distractions if I decide I want to ignore the tulpa.

I still desire trying more new types and personalities. Its like getting to know real people on a level you'd need to be basically living with them and everything to know. that level of trust with real people might take years as well as money. I got to try out things I could never do in real life. My mind adores the thrill like a drug.

The destruction part is more problems with my inner mind/voices. I didn't really have to want to do it, except for one of them. It seems to start right after my mind puts them through the maturing stage.

I for instance created a octavia body weeks ago I used for a day. I've ignored it and it still pops up. I don't know how I can ignore it more than that.

Yeah, I've seen this before and I recognized it early enough to make sure it didn't happen to me.

I came from a small community which I still frequent that has a basic understanding of "tulpa" but more commonly recognizes the idea as "characters". Terminology isn't important but like here the attitude there is pretty much the same. You can have as many "characters" as you like and the more the better. For months I was one of just two people who had a single tulpa. Some people would add characters to their ranks all the time and if they got bored of them they'd simply go away. Be it retreating into a wonderland or simply being forgotten about.

TMS happens for a few reasons. Primarily it would be because people see others with multiple tulpa and want to do the same.

Their reasoning probably contains at least one of the following.

Why not?

OMG I can have a harem.

Pony petting zoo.

If someone wrote up a convincing argument against multiple tulpa and put it in the guides section at the front of a creation guide where people would see it then maybe we'd see a change.

The consequences? Already plain to see right here. Single line thread derailment where someone tries to justify their tulpa by throwing around words like "Celestia" to someone only here to keep poking holes in it.

Being a little more serious about it, multiple tulpa probably slow down the process as a whole. Maintaining a second... or more personalities dilutes them unless you're an expert at focus. Since most probably can't even impose their tulpa (myself included) then multiple tulpa is only going to take focus away learning and practicing that.

I don't really want anymore. Mr. Damon is all I really need.

I guess you could say there are tons of NPCs (as in, the characters you can talk to in video games, but not control) in our "wonderland", some more developed than others, but I'm not 100% sure if they can be considered tulpa since they just do their own thing and don't make an effort to interact with me outside of it.

I agree with Fede on this one, when I was derping around in wonderland and i saw a random pone. I went 'OH COOL A NEW TUPPER!' But then I realised I was just deluding myself. So I got rid of him.

Name - Silver

Form - Harpy

Sentience - fully sentient

Personality - Playful, cheerful, enthusiastic, chilled

Smell - Baileys

Stage - Narration and imposition

I just kill whatever disturbs me in wonderland. If it shows an uncomfortable sign of sentience, chances are I will kill it.

Let's focus on the matter at hand, shall we?

Jaden pretty much feels the same way. He calls it tulpa birth control. He can see into the beings that pop up occasionally and they are more like shells or characters than full fledged tulpas, no matter how sentient they seem to act. We just consider them NPCs and don't pay much mind to them. I guess I can understand artists or writers having tulpae pop up more often if they tend to view their creations as people rather than characters. But sometimes it seems like every intrusive thought is a new tulpa to some people. Eh.

It seems though that the people who let in these extra surprise tulpas really enjoy it and seem to be inviting them subconsciously. The more the merrier I guess.

I originally just wanted one, but two didn't seem like too much of a difference. It's someone Jay can talk to when I'm busy. Having a third also prevents some of the issues with laziness we had before. The third person in the conversation means that we can't all speak together through instant thoughts and actually have to talk to each other, which is helping a great deal with vocal imposition. Though I'm not interested in any more, I think I'm at my ideal.

You have to keep in mind that there are rpers on this site. This will never cease to be true. The rpers are very likely to make up new tulpa, kill off old ones, merge and split existing ones, and so on for your attention. They skew the ratio of host-tulpa a lot. Of course I don't think that they are all lying, that would be too cynical, but it would be too naive to say they don't exist. Please exercise a healthy skepticism.

I was almost thinking I was a bit of a weirdo for wanting just one tulpa..

This is true. To be honest, I don't follow the crazier progress reports, never really have.

Hahaha, oh.

Sometimes my fingers are itching mind is itching for a second tulpa but we are both don't want to spend less time with each other and we doesn't feel like its really necessary.

It's just fine the way it is.

They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here.

At Tulpa.info we do all our science from scratch; no hand holding.
