Psi energy ... am still getting used to moving psi around in the body. I seem to perceive it as an odd sort of tingle not quite like any other kind of tingling sensation I've felt. The tingle sensation seems easiest to feel in my hands. It's accompanied by a sensation of warmth if I collect enough of it in one place.

 

You can really tell a community has gone to shit when community leaders refuse to follow the community's rules. You two are ridiculous.

The claims they are making about tulpa contain no more sicence then magic. Both have theories that could explain them, and neither have any evidence. Honestly, "research" and "experimentation", HAH. It's all psychological, and we can't prove shit right now. We might as well talk about magic and shit just as much as we talk about tulpa because we're never going to get solid evidence for either of them.

Also the metaguys say they could prove astral projection, but refuse to prove it. Why? Fuck if I know, too high and mighty seems like the reason. That's the number one warning sign of bullshit, saying you can do something that could be proven easily and then not proving it. All the people in this research are connected to Forge in some way. He knows these people, so he can read and manipulate them. Unless Forge's willing to do tests with people he doesn't know like a lot of us, nothing has been proven. This is like those street psychics using little tricks to ~~read the mind~~, but with less body language. Pleeb probably is one of the easiest to influence person around I know, though.

 

So, you got your challenge. You can astral project? You can astral project into my thing. I want a lot of people trying it to compare results, and I want people who apparently can do it, aka Forge. I could try your game but if I didn't get results, you'd just say I can't do it and that doesn't prove anything. But you can, so you should be able to do it, yeah? So go on, I'm serious. Let's experiment.

I completely agree, because much of this board is psuedoscience as well. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like the tulpa phenomenon to be treated seriously, and I can't see that happening if we take metaphysics seriously, OR if the community cannot even follow its own guidelines. The "soft science" and psuedoscience that takes place on the research board is a step in the right direction; Metaphysics is not.

 

Scanning through the first page of this board I can see a few good topics though. The EEG experiments look promising, even if the sensor used is very primitive, because it is one of the only things I've seen so far which shows actual objective data. Even though they're far less factual, the "Tulpaforcing Side Effects", "Attention Starvation", "Tulpas making Tulpas", and "Sleep Paralysis Testing" all seem very interesting as well.

 

Even though much of the "research" here isn't perfect, it's still useful as a method of learning more about tulpae and their capabilities, usefulness, downsides, etc. I don't see much use in metaphysics though.
