TulpaCouple April 3, 2013 April 3, 2013 Never told my or Nate's parents, but we were asked about it when his dad was rummaging around on his laptop. We gave a vague answer that explained what they were and that we were curious about the concept in relation to spirit animals(which happens to be involved in one of Nate's story projects anyway) and they were satisfied with the answer. We could already see he was freaked out by the idea, so we aren't interested in letting him or any other parental figure about this.

Yes, but that thread is about family and friends in general, I was asking about parents because I feel like it would be a lot easier to tell it to a close friend than to mom or dad. Also because a friend will have a harder time having you locked up in a psychiatry than your parents, at least at my age.
