How many people in your everyday life do you think have a tulpa wihout you knowing about it? could it be possible that some of the people that you know have a tulpa without you realising?

 

I just wonder, is there anyone in your life you would be willing to tell?

I know 2 people who have one IRL.

Judging on how obscure the subject is, I doubt many know about it/think of it as a "sane" thing to do to themselves. There's probably more people who think they're creepypasta material than a real thing that you can do.

 

I've already told the people I need to tell, save for one person.

I ask myself that question quite often, and I think that saying that 1% of the population has a tulpa is optimistic.

 

I think it's closer to 0,1%, and probably less, 0,1% would already be 7 million people running around with sentient imaginary friends.

 

The only guy I know in real life that knows about my tulpa is the same person that told me about them in the first place.

I don't think I will tell many other people except him, especially if I move this summer I don't think that the best introduction would be admitting to hear voices.

I think I could say that no one currently in my physical life would have a Tulpa (unless it was an unintentional one).

 

I used to be heavily into metaphysical groups and other then one person I know was into things like this.. I didnt know anyone else into Tulpas even thou we had no issues discussing all kinds of weirder things.

 

Imaginary friends who have gained their own conscious thou I do think could commonly be Tulpas and may be more common then those creating them consciously.

 

My boyfriend knows I have a Tulpa, I would never date anyone I couldnt be open with.

I think having a Tulpa is a pretty rare thing. Maybe some people have simple imaginary friends. Everyone I know wouldn't even consider the idea. I've only told 2 people about Tulpas and they rejected the idea.

There isn't anyone who I really feel a need to tell in my life, but if someone close to me learned about tulpas and asked me then I wouldn't deny that I have one. Until that day comes though, it's just me and her against the world.

Considering this is like the largest tulpa community out there, and yet there are only 3000 members, spread across a world with 7 billion people, I'd say the chances you know one are pretty slim.

You forget the 1% rule. 90% of those 3000 members are inactive. The chances aren't slim. They're practically zero.
