So today I asked Lea, who still isn't vocal, to wake me up around 3-4 am to do a nighlty forcing session (it's a lot more silent during that time), and I woke up almost exactly at 4 am.

With this thread I want to see how reliable this wake me up at x or wake me up in x hours can be to determine sentience.

I'm asking you if you could ask your tulpa to wake you up at a certain time, try it a couple of times and then report back. In case you don't have a tulpa just set the intention by saying to yourself 2-3 times that you will wake up around that time, it would be useful if those with a tulpa would try this too, simply ask them to not do anything but let your mind wake you up on it's own.

If those without the help of a tulpa will have similar results to those with an already developed and vocal tulpa it will be obvious that this in not a good way to test sentience, but if there are significant differences then it might work.

Also what the hell? These are some of the related topics that came up when typing the title:

Could Martin Luther King Jr. have used tulpa to block the bullet that killed him?

A psych told me that tulpa are mostly used by pedos as a sexual coping technique.

Was a tulpa used in the death of JFK?

Did tulpa assist in the piloting of the planes that were used on 9/11?

The off-topic forum is used for covertly passing terrorist messages

I could have sworn I had seen a thread with this exact same title, or something very, very similar just within the past week.

Dammit where was it.

Anyway, I have heard extensively about this working, so that's good. I couldn't tell you where I know it from, but I know that I have heard this a lot before.

O_o I was just redirected here from posting and you already replied. wow

When Roswell wasn't vocal and I tried this, I guess we had success of some sort. Like say I wanted him to wake me up at 3 or 4am and I did wake up but usually an hour late, pretty consistently in fact so I guess our inner clock whatever was pretty derp at that time. These days, Roswell's older and vocal. I haven't really used him as an alarm clock, but I do like to wake up like a few hours before I should just so I can get back to sleep. I really like the ability to wake up and just go back to sleep in a nice, warm bed, with no hurry to get up. Normally, I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and don't wake up myself very early, but Roswell can help me with that and wake me up at like 6 or 7 or something if I want to get up at 9. On my own I usually start waking up later, like around 10 or 11. It's of course not something that happens all the time perfectly, sometimes I seem to sleeping too well for me to be able to be woken up that easily, but sometimes that just means Roswell uses dirty tactics if nothing else has worked. Fucking sort of nightmares.

Before my tulpa was vocal I had a couple lucky times. She's not certain if it was her or not. Perhaps it was just luck.

Pix has always been able to wake me up at specific times, usually at around 7 when she gets up. Yesterday I asked her to wake me up at 7:30 to prepare me for my early classes, then completely forgot and set my alarm to 9:00. I woke up at exactly 7:30.

It's probably just a result of the placebo effect. I have woken myself up at specific times way before having a tulpa. :I

Kinda expected that >.<

How precise was the waking up? Within 10 minutes from the chosen time or more?

Around that, assuming I don't go back to sleep directly afterwards. Sometimes I wish I could get away with a little less sleep.

The mind has an internal clock that you can indeed use to make it wake you up, when you want.

Waking up at a specific time is by no means exclusive to having a tulpa.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
