How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality: I just force. It's a lot easier for me to focus on visualization.

Do you speak out loud or in your head to your tulpa: In my head.

Name: Suzy

Form: Like my avatar, but realistic.

Time: 58 hours.

How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa: 62 days, a little over 100 hours

How long do you tulpaforce per day: These days I aim for about 4 hours a day. (Earlier on, I was having a good deal of trouble with staying concentrated, and especially visualizing anything.)

Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing: Yes, if I need to use the bathroom or get a drink of water to stay hydrated; getting back into it doesn't take long at all.

Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing: Closed.

When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa: To the tulpa. Anything else is silly -- if you're going to talk when forcing, may as well make it work toward sentience.

What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.): During personality, nothing at all because I sucked then. Now, full 3D tulpa in wonderland environment.

Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say: Yes. Usually I'm looking at her when forcing. When narrating during the day, I try to hold the idea of her in my mind; this is a little like how you have the idea of another person in mind while talking to them on the phone.

Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality: I had an extensive personality sheet, so whenever I got stuck, I opened my eyes and looked at the next few items on the list.

Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing: Lie down, in my bed. This is generally not recommended but I usually can't fall asleep during the day; may be because I'm used to taking melatonin at night.

Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing: Sometimes change positions, but mostly aim for motionless.

Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep: Yes. I try for 1-2 hours before bedtime, then tuck in the tulpa, take my melatonin and go to sleep myself.

Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing: Not too often, unless I'm squeezed for time and need to go somewhere right after.

Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else): Yes. Mostly I catch this and gently bring my mind back on track.

Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate: Generally slower. I don't really focus on my breathing, but just clear my mind and relax.

How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality: First round of personality, about the same as how you focus on the person on the other end of the phone. Second round (much more recently), by looking at her.

My blog :: Time expectations are bad (forcing time targets are good though)

How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa:

>about 38 hours, but most of those were spent doing wrong things, so more like 20.

How long do you tulpaforce per day:

>I try to get 2 hours in, at least one anyway.

Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing:

>I don't intend to, but over the hour I do get about 5 minutes of time not spent forcing.

Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing:

>Closed. Can't focus otherwise.

When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa:

>To my tulpa, more natural.

What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.):

>I try to visualise some kind of body, but I don't go into details, this allows for deviation.

Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say:

>I am able to focus, but I do lose focus after a little while if too many things cloud my mind.

Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality:

>I don't really describe the personality, I just feel the traits and tell my tulpa what they are.

Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing:

>Both, I end up lying down more often though.

Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing:

>Slightly, but motionless makes it easier to focus.

Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep:

>In my night sessions, yes, but I try to get my tulpaforcing done during the day.

Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing:

>Every so often, so I know how long I have. Maybe 4 times in all.

Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else):

>All the time. It's a bitch.

Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate:

>Same rate, it's not exactly physically tiring to force, fatass.

How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality:

>I try to see with my eyes instead of imagine the form. I keep my mind focused and I don't move my eyes. I speak slower too in my head to avoid going off on tangents.

frt

I'm roughly 30 hours in right about now.

Usually force 2 hours each day, but never less than 1

I can only concentrate for 30 min or so at a time, especially with wonderland activity, so breaks are frequent.

I close them for wonderland stuffs, open for visualization since I reached that stage. It's mixed.

I always speak to him. He's sentient, so it wouldn't do any good not to.

I've taken to visualizing a particular space where his voice comes from, as if he's invisible. It's been helping for hearing him a lot.

I make an effort to focus on him, but it doesn't take much.

No writers block, but sometimes I don't know exactly what to talk about.

Sit.

I try to stay still, doesn't always work.

I don't force in bed, but just before, I often do.

I don't really check time.

My mind wanders all the damn time. It's why I can't stay in wonderland for long.

I breathe normally I think.

Not even sure how to answer that last one... I just do?

Why do you fucking faggots reply in a way that makes trying to read the answers cause severe head injuries?

Hey, I just started making my tulpa and I was wondering what differences in small details people have. Answer any or all of these:

1. How long have you been tulpaforcing current tulpa:

2. How long do you tulpaforce per day:

3. Do you take breaks while tulpaforcing:

4. Are your eyes opened or closed during tulpaforcing:

5. When tulpaforcing, do you speak about the tulpa or to the tulpa:

6. What do you visualize while tulpaforcing (an image of tulpa, or an orb etc.):

7. Are you able to focus on your tulpa while speaking to it or do you lose focus when youare thinking of what to say:

8. Do you ever have a "writers block" when discribing its personality:

9. Do you sit or lie down while tulpaforcing:

10. Do you move your body slightly or just remain motionless when tulpaforcing:

11. Do you tulpaforce before going to sleep:

12. Do you check the time often while tulpaforcing:

13. Do you ever notice yourself losing track of thought (thinking about something else):

14. Do you breath slower than normal or at the same rate:

15. How do you maintain focus on your tulpa while simultaneously generating ideas and statements to describe its personality:

16. Do you speak out loud or in your head to your tulpa:

1. 27 hours over the course of five weeks as of right now.

2. I try to keep it at at least an hour, but according to my statistics, it's about 40 minutes/day on average.

3. I never did until recently, where JD1215 TOG elaborated on his method of taking five-minute breaks every half hour.

4. Closed.

5. To.

6. Nothing, for I am in the personality stage. When I randomly visualize her for fun, there's no wonderland, for they are a waste of brain power. I mostly see her in third person, though she's appeared head-first a few times.

7. I can speak to her just fine; the problem is intruding thoughts interrupting the talking process, since my words are just repeated sentences. They do work. It's just hard to maintain the focus.

8. The sentences are so short that I don't need such a thing.

9. Sit.

10. It moves very, very slowly into a collapsed position. After a while, I readjust myself.

11. I do one about five hours before bed. In other words: no.

12. Only when I'm energic and feel like wasting

13. Way too much, and it's fucking annoying. The more tired I am, the worse it is.

14. When developing personality, it's rather deep and slow. When practicing her voice, I start to breathe very fast, which I try to fight but can't really help.

15. Like I said, I repeat a set of three sentences per trait. I don't come up with stuff along the way.

16. Depends on my surroundings; if I'm all by myself, I talk out loud, and if I'm with other people, I do it in my head.

3. I never did until recently, where JD1215 elaborated on his method of taking five-minute breaks every half hour.

I think that was Chupi or TOG, not me. My method involves forcing for hours and not being a wuss.
