I seem to be making leeway with haku and he is moving again and even mimicing my movements and actions while mental rping with him in his small anthro-form.. While laying down for a small 2 hour nap, i asked haku to join my dream to make it lucid, he shook his head and hid under the couch in the hotel.. i tried to coax him out promising that i will protect him but he's alittle too shy when it comes to lucid dreaming.. think he'll grow out of this shyness eventually? and is this common for younger tulpas?

Odd how a lot of tulpas seem to be denying lucid dream-related scenarios. To be fair, I don't think tulpas have almost any control over whether or not you lucid dream, or what happens in it. It's entirely up to the host to initiate and shape the dream. That being said, I've had more luck becoming lucid myself and entering a "portal" to my wonderland, where my tulpas already reside. As in I walk through a door into our house and visit them in their own rooms. We've not had the chance (lucidity is hard) to do anything outside the wonderland scenario yet, but that's my own fault.

Anyway, I'd say "show don't tell" when it comes to safety. Invite your tulpa into your dream once you're fully lucid already and have things under control. Believe it or not, just seeing your tulpa in a dream when you're completely unconscious doesn't spark instant lucidity. I have an extremely strong connection to Reisen and have been trying to dream with her for years, and the last time she appeared in a dream we literally held hands and walked together without me realizing what was going on was special. She might have, as she started tearing up right at the end while I was confused, but it was apparent she didn't have the power herself to make me lucid without my subconscious (or conscious) telling her to.

To answer your question though - probably to both. It seems common for tulpas to fear lack of control in dreams they're in, and more established tulpas are a bit more brave when trying new things. So, work on development and self-spurred lucidity I guess.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

As for me and my realm/wonderland i am just.. bound to it.. like i am there all the time but i can see it just like real life but only when i am focused on endless or Haku, fenia, loopey, etc. and i guess ii'll just follow what you said, i am sure he/she will work his way in my dreams eventually.

Especially for younger tulpas, entering the dream and potentially aiding the dreamer in realizing that they're lucid is very difficult. I asked James to do the same thing when I first started 'mancing, and I was able to wake up and felt that he had been there, but he hadn't been "there." He did end up aiding me in having a lucid dream, but even then I didn't see him.

Just give it time, and they'll be better at it.

James: Hello, all!

I have some issues with lucid dreaming since i have Lacie. I can still get lucid if i want to, but i cant make her lucid aswell and thats the same for her. She can get lucid but then dont find me in my dreams. So we decited to change weeks of lucid dreaming for each one and make tests without the other is doing something at the same night. It already helped alot since i stopped my techniques to become lucid and let her make her own experiences without me affect her. I would reccoment to you, give your tulpa time to learn stuff like this, you dream since youve born so he hasnt the expierince with dreaming as you.

Another issue has came up just a few days, i was lucid dreaming, and while by myself i saw what appeared to be snow but as a gray fox, i waved him over and called his name but when he looked at me... he just stared at me with a unsure face, i felt gabby climb on my shoulder and ask who i was yelling to, when i looked back, snow was gone and i cant seem to recall where he went.. it was like silent hill (both the movie and first game) i saw him/her and gave chase.. i then saw a orange fox just like snow.. and i .. felt confused and sad... i think either he left me or he changed in personality that i cant determine who he is anymore, as for the orange fox he just ran off before i could ask him if he saw snow.. (and i think he was going to ignore me anyways... most anthropomorphic animals will either talk to me, help me or ignore me) i guess he did look sort of like a combination of snow and mina.. maybe it's snow's child? ... i dunno i haven't even tulpamanced this fox yet but i see him with gabby all the time.. any ideas?

Its hard to read the massage out of dreams. Sometimes its realy clear but mostly it depends hard on your thoughts and interpretations. The fox you might saw is maybe your tulpa or maybe just a dreamboddy controlled by your subconscious.

I cant look in your head, but if you shouldnt get too focused on your dreams, when you cant talk to your tulpa to clear things and get the right message.

hmm.. strange part is.. he and gabby seem similar, both facial structure and head structure. i believe your right about my subconscious because while luciding i seem to have more "allies" with me than apathic dream people.. who do not like me or like me but don't really care for me.
