[Misc] Tulpabracelets

One thing I noticed was Memphis tends to recede and become inactive when I'm out and about during the day. That's a lot of time I can be narrating and we can be spending together.

A friend mentioned he put a picture of his tulpa as his background on his phone so whenever he checked the time he would think about his tulpa and it would float to the top of his mind. I don't really carry my phone with me, so I came up with an alternative, indiscreet solution:

Tulpabracelets.

The construction is simple:

1. Find/buy an old watch, which suits your taste.

2. Draw some symbol to represent your tulpa.

3. Cut out and laminate the symbol so it will be preserved.

4. Glue the laminated symbol to the watch.

This is the one I made:

It works really well. Memphis stays awake throughout the day when I wear it and we've been able to spend a lot more time together. No one asks about it and it's comfortable.

The only downside is, at least for me, having Memphis active all the time can be exhausting.

Personally I think I'd do better with the phone method because it wouldn't be so tiring because it wouldn't be in my face all the time, but the tulpabracelet method is nice, too.

"Excuse me, please. What time is it?"
And then explain the one, that the watch isn't working and you wear it anyway. Big Grin

But this gave me an idea. I have a bit paracord here and can make a bracelet, which i can associate with my tulpa.
It looks better than a broken watch.
If my language insults someone, because of my mistakes, please let me know. I will work on it.

"No idea."

"But you're wearing a watch."

"Battery died. I wear it by habit."

i think it would be better to do that with one of those rubber band bracelet things, like the ones for breast cancer or something, and do it on that, that way people wouldnt get onto you for wearing a watch

Well sure, this is technically a guide, but it's not really a guide that should be in the guide section of the forums? It's just a guide of how to glue a piece of paper on a watch or something? Just because it is somehow related to tuppers doesn't make it a tupperguide. I might as well make a guide of how to order toilet paper with your tupper's name/face on it so you can wipe your ass with it and that's the same thing as this. It would go better in the general tupper shit as a 'hey look at what I made and I think it could help you' kinda deal.

Can't wait to see people have "reminders" in the form of [tuppername] so we finally have real life badges of shame and attentionwhoring people will wear, just like on IRC. Not just the name mind you, the brackets are a must because people here can't seem to write a tupper's name without them anymore, even when there's absolutely no reason for the brackets to be there.

My reminder is a bit hidden

I have gotten compliments on the ring, silly enough, but I haven't taken it off to let anyone mess with it. No one needs to ask any questions about who Jaden and Giselle are.. But it's a nice reminder to me, it's a thick ring, it bumps into my other fingers and I tend to be clumsy and knock it on things which reminds me quite often. Though, at this point, it's more of a nice tribute for them than anything, they're around most of the time out of habit rather than needing to be reminded too often.

Seems useful for just keeping them in your mind. Might make one, provided it doesn't too attention grabby, for others anyway, don't want too many questions.

Not all of them require you to order 100s.
