Avalanche February 6, 2013 February 6, 2013 Avalanche: I was ISFJ before it was mainstream I usually actively force about 10-15 minutes before going to bed and do narration 24/7 I'm about the same, maybe not 24/7 but then no one is 24/7 really. I hope to do a bit more but I find I get distracted or I simply can't not focus on what I'm doing. frt
Ashikael February 20, 2013 February 20, 2013 Interesting survey. I took the test and am apparently INTJ. But it also seems that INT* is common since it makes up over 50% of the forums. And there is a huge difference between the I* and E*. I suppose being introverted can give someone a unique perspective on their own inner worlds, while most extroverts are more outside-oriented. I wonder if the extroverts here had a harder time creating their tulpae? Or maybe an easier time? I'd be interested to see a more in-depth survey to see the differences in the tulpa creation process as compared to certain personality types :)
Mr. Duke and His Attorney March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 Hey, I'm pretty interested in this stuff. That being said, I do not think it is possible to run separate personalities inside the same brain. The problem is, it is impossible to know with certainty. Each personality is made up of four functions (Not the MBTI letters). And there doesn't seem to be an answer as to the where and why of how those functions come into being. Any tulpa that falls outside their host's type is most likely imitating the host's perception of that kind of a person. I say this because anything else would bend the whole of psychology, I think. Unless something like multiple personality disorders has legitimately different MBTI-style types. In which case, personality functions may be stored in the brain? This is obscenely complex shit. And there's always the chance that the creator of these things, Carl Jung, was right and that they came from a collective unconscious. Anyway, Myers-Briggs tests on the internet tend to be crap. Every single person is introverted and every single person is extroverted. Everyone is a thinker and a feeler, intuitive and sensing. What matters about those last four is whether they are extroverted or introverted, and what order of preference they fall in. I (INTP) may be an introverted thinker, but my emotions are expressed outwardly. The following two quick videos explain this better than I can: Personality Tests are WRONG! Shadow Functions! Avoid Them! (I noticed a lot of INTJs! You should totally check out this video: INTJ: How To Be Extroverted ) EDIT: Think of the Myers-Briggs and quiz questions as more effects of a personality rather than a personality itself. I thought for years that the Myers-Briggs stuff was actually a personality. That is an extremely damaging viewpoint. It makes you think you simply don't care for emotions, sensing/traditional things, or being extroverted or around people. “Just sick enough to be totally confident” -H.S.T. Lacquer March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 Each personality is made up of four functions (Not the MBTI letters). Unless the source for this is in those videos you posted that I have yet to watch, I would like a source for that. EDIT: WHOOPS. After I posted this, I did five seconds of searching, and I figured out what you were talking about. Nevermind.
zerofox21898 March 12, 2013 March 12, 2013 Me: ESTP Luna: ENFP I could kinda tell she'd get his before taking he test. I don't think it has anything to do with my mbti type. I think she's the way she is only because I created her that way Tulpas Luna, Vanille
ZerothEnder March 14, 2013 March 14, 2013 I'm an INTJ and Syldra's an ISFP. My Tulpae: Syldra River (Jan. 9, 2013) Picture Erin (March 30, 2013) Picture
